Evelyn's phone gave a funny pop!. She glanced down at an FB chat window and then at Alexis, smiling briefly. "Sorry, just kind of winded. How was your date though?"

She cast the chat window with James Darko written at its head one last glance and then placed her attention to her roommate fully. She really was curious to know what Luke on a date would behave like.

Jake sat on the couch and heard someone knocking on the door, he was a bit lazy and didn't feel like getting up as he heard the small explosions on the screen while he was playing a game, "It's open!" He shouted at the closed door.

Alexis grabbed her iPhone, hooking up to the NYU's internet as she sat down by Evelyn. "I don't know that you could call this a date- I mean, it seemed A LOT like one considering we ate dinner together and then went to play soccer.... okay, do you want the whole story?"

Evelyn made a fatal mistake. She glanced back at ehr FB's chat window, which she had closed. James had decided to reply.

And her day went downhill even further.

She glanced up at Alexis, feeling suddenly like she wanted to cry or hit someone. But Alexis looked elated. And was clearly trying to distract her.

Evelyn smiled. "Yeah, tell me the minute details. Oh, firstly," she said, ignoring the FB pop! "did he say anything about your outfit?"

Seth let himself in and collapsed next to Jake, watching his game. "So, I apologized. To Alexis," he said.

Jake clicked the mouse shooting lasers at the thing attacking him in his game, "Did you now?" He said distracted.

Alexis grinned and put her phone down on her lap, trying to not get all she had just caught up on, on facebook get to her. "He said I looked different, in a good way and a bad way. That I looked pretty but I didn't look like me and he wanted to know why."

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn blinked, surprised. "So...he didn't like it?" she asked, dreading the answer.

The stupid FB chat popped up again. And Evelyn spared it one more glance before telling James, using the cuss word for the first time in her life, to fuck off. Then she logged out and placed her phone away, peering at Alexis. Even though her chest felt like a truckload of boulders had been dropped on it, she focused on the topic at hand.

If Luke hadn't liked her outfit, would Alexis still look happy?

Seth poked Jake in the side. "Yeah. And she didn't hit me at all. I think she was in a good mood, what with her date and all. I owe that guy one, whoever he is."

"I think he did. Maybe, I dunno. But we ate and then went to go play soccer.. which.. was awkward in the end. I went to steal the ball, anddd tripped because of playing in damn converses and we both ended up on the ground.. me.. on top of him?"Alexis let out a embarrassed chuckle slightly, tugging at a brown strand in her hair.

Jake nodded, "That's cool." He said continuing his game.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn felt a smile tug at her lips. But she didn't want to stop Alexis from pouring it out. "Go on?"

Seth continued like he hadn't noticed Jake's lack of interest. "And then she grew a pair of horns and stabbed me with her trident."

"Wow, really? That's amazing Seth." Jake said chewing his lip, and then the voice on the computer laughed and he figured he had enough he turned to Seth and stretched, "So how was your day?

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth wondered if Jake was still there mentally. So he said with a straight facce, "Ask yoru mom."

Alexis smiled slightly. "Uhm- it was basically as you expect, awkward, what with me like sprawled out on top of him and he wasn't a very comfortable landing what with the muscles and all- And I think I hurt my elbow but it got even worse when some guy came in, telling us to "take it to our dorms" anddd wouldn't believe me when I told him it wasn't what it looked like at all- Luke made the wonderful suggestion of getting the hell out of here and I'm still not sure if he realized he grabbed my hand as we left."

She paused, taking a breath before smiling some again. "We went to the campus quad and just kinda sat on a bench and Luke seemed... almost.. scared that I was mad? But... I... asked him on a date and he said sure. Oh, we were both acting like freshly dating young teenagers. But we're going to go tour New York as our date. And just to make you a bit happier or chipper about it, he was still holding my hand the whole time."

Jake titled his head, "My mom's out of town." He looked over Seth and seeing the finished product of his hair, he commented, "You know what your hair isn't half bad."

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn gaped, speechless. "Whoa..." she said, still absorbing Alexis' tirade. "Whoaaaa...."

Then she squealed and threw her arms around Alexis gleefully, completely forgetting James.

"That is so cute! I knew you two were going to be adorable. And go, you, for making the first move!"

Seth sighed, disappointed he couldn't talk crap at Jake any more. He ran his fingers self-consciously through his dark hair. "Ya think?" he asked, anxious. Jake, of all people, wouldn't lie to him because he knew just how vain Seth could get because of his hair.

Seth shrugged. "I'm thinking of going and getting it dyed silver-blond in a couple weeks, after the chaos dies down, you know?" He stretched. "So it's only like, eight. I got some pizza if you want it." He lifted a bag he'd dropped at his feet. "Got it on my way home. I'm starving still."

"Um do you have to ask? I'm starving! Oooh dude, careful with your hair can't it fall out from going to extreme colors like that?" Jake asked reaching down for the bag and opening it to grab a couple of slices to devour them. Jake hadn't realized just how hungry he was.

Alexis started laughing and patted Evelyn's back. "Thank you- but it's only the first official date."Alexis said with a slight smirk. "He seemed kinda worried or disheartened after he said yes though."

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth pursed his lips. He stretched out onto the couch and Lucifer crawled out from whatever hole he spent his time in, lunging at the pizza in Jake's hand.

"We should do something fun this weekend," Seth said, ignoring the hissing and clawing in front of him. "We've done all the New York shit. Let's be outrageous."

Jake pushed the blasted feline away and chucked a slice on the floor so he'd quit clawing at him, "Yeah I agree, but what do yo have in mind?"

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth smirked at Jake, blue eyes twinkling. "Well...don't get mad...but Lola and I had a bit of a fight today. Online, of course. Not that water fight."

He paused. "So, um...I figured I'd make amends with her."

Lucifer threw himself onto the floor by the slice and swallowed it. He licked sauce off his chops and then nudged Seth's leg.

Jake nearly choked on his fifth slice of pizza, coughing he ran to the kitchenette grabbing a water bottle and taking a big swig from it, he gasped as he caught his breath, "Wait... what?! Holy crap! Ummm there are so many people I'd like to thank... first and fore most I'd like to thank God..." Jake said coming back into Seth's view and giving an acceptance speech.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn frowned. That was strange. WHy the hell would Luke even say yes if it wasn't something he wanted to do?

"Huh," was all she could say. "But you guys are going out then?"

Seth had a crazy urge to trip Jake. But he'd known this would be the best way to get his attention.

Did Jake really not know him at all? Hell if Seth would do something like that until Jake evened the balance.

"I have a condition," Seth interrupted Jake's Oscar-winning speech for Best Supporting Moron.

Jake stopped in the middle of his monologue, "And that is?"

"...Is it considered going out after two dates?"Alexis mused out loud.

[Tiger-Lily]

"Yes," Evelyn replied with a wide grin. "Aw, Lex, let's go out and celebrate your victory! It's only eight."

Seth smirked. "I have a wager for you, buddy." He straightened, and Lucifer jumped onto his lap. Seth petted the cat's silvery head. "I bet I can make Lola go out with me."
