He swallowed, somewhat unnerved by the whole situation. "Uhh...no problem." Seth shuffled from one foot to the other, trying not to jostle her, and held onto her in case he had. He figured she was about done anyways.

Alexis slowly pulled away, wiping at her face and eyes, letting out a deep shaky breath.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth tugged at the hem of his shirt to straighten it out. It had a huge damp spot at his chest. He tucked his hands into his pockets, clearing his throat. "So um, I'll walk back with you. I have to check up on Lucifer." Without waiting, he turned on his heel and began making his way toward the Freshman building, glancing back over his shoulder and gesturing for her to follow.

Alexis let out a hesitant breath, not really wanting to go back to the dorm but followed him. ".. I can't go back to the dorm right now."

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth's Blackberry buzzed annoyingly loudly and broke the moment he'd been about to say something nice.

He glanced at it as he walked and stifled a grin. "Why?" he asked her distractedly, punching keys as he replied to Jake's "interesting" day. From what Seth had heard, Jake had had too much fun that day at work.

Seth wondered if Alexis heard what their stupid roommates had been up to that afternoon, but from Jake's panic, he figured he should let it lie for now.

"I don't want to be around my dorm mate right now. At all."Alexis said, rubbing at her arms before looking at him. "Do you have my phone?"

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth blinked. "Oh, right." He dug through his pockets and pulled out her phone, passing it over. "Why not? I thought you and French Red were tight?"

"Not since.. not since she... She's changed, is all."Alexis said, wiping at her eyes and forced her hands to stop shaking as she unlocked her phone and scanned over facebook.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth reached out and placed his hand over Alexis' facebook screen. "Um...don't do that. Trust me." He tilted his head. "What do you mean, she's changed? She was just as unpleasant to me this morning as always."

"..Too late."Alexis mumbled, not sure she cared. "You haven't known her as long as I have- it's like... She was different from everyone else, she HAD morals and didn't have to lie about shit to impress guys or whatever. All she's been doing is lying. I just don't want to be around her."

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth caught on. "You mean that whole stunt with Jake? Yeah, that is some messed-up shit. Worst of it is, Jake's apparently had a girl do to him what Red's doing to her ex or whoever. So I don't even know why he's helping her."

"Evelyn's making herself out as a bitch. A cold hearted one, and I mean that, most than usual. She doesn't even seem to give a shit. James- her ex- deserves closure. He was heartbroken, she was too, but she makes it out like she should be the sad puppy dog in this break up that everyone should baby, and James should be left in the rain."Alexis spat slightly, not towards Seth, (for once), but towards the topic period.

She was even trying to figure out a place she could stay for the night, not wanting to be around any of that at all anymore for today, a little sure she'd just tell Evelyn to go fuck herself and not speak to her anymore but she had no where to go but the dorm.

"Sad puppy dog?" Seth tried to imagine Evelyn as one and had to stop a smile. But then, he didn't know the whole messed-up story he could tell was behind it. He didn't know James either, except that the guy seemed to be holding a lot of resentment for the French redhead.

"Well, I have no idea what the hell is going on, but Jake said he'd explain it to me when I got back." Seth glanced down at Alexis. "So what, you're going to sulk outside until you can manage living under the same roof as her? Seems kinda like you paying for what she did, if you ask me."

"It's not that- I already lectured her and told her what she needed to hear because no one else would. But at this point- I'm afraid of yelling at her even more and just telling her to fuck off."Alexis said calmly, running her fingers through her hair. She wasn't sure why she was spilling everything to Seth but it was helping her inside at the moment.

"And just being around her and thinking about it all is adding stress to be even more, because I want to go fucking home to see my dad in the hospital and just.. argh."Alexis scowled and rubbed at her wrists. "It hasn't been a good day- at all."

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth frowned down at her, seizing the chance to change topics. "Your dad's in the hospital? Why?"

"Bad stroke..."Alexis said, rubbing at her arm after slipping her phone back in her pocket.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth made a soft "oh" exclamation. "Damn, that's a bitch," he commented. "Why don't you take the next two days off and go see him?"

The Freshmen Building was now mere feet away.

"It'll take to long- and the trip will be killer."Alexis said, glancing at Seth and bit at her bottom lip. "...Thanks Seth. For listening and.. saving my stupid ass... and I'm sorry for being a bitch all the time."

[Tiger-Lily]

He almost stopped walking in surprise and shot her a sidelong glance. A smirk tugged at his mouth. "If I collapse at any point after this out of sheer shock, it'll be your fault for saying that."

Alexis grinned, amused. "I expected it to be honest."She teased, rocking back and forth on her heels just a little.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth placed a hand over his chest, right above the damp spot. "I," he said mockingly, "am always honest. I never lie and it usually gets me in trouble. But at least I can say i have a clean conscience and mean it."

Alexis smirked. "Hmmm.. I'll take your word for now."

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth snorted, pleased she was back to poking fun at him as opposed to crying into his shirt-front. "This is the attitude I get? I was hoping for some feet-kissing at the very least."

"Hah! You wish. I'd be the one with the whip making YOU lick the dirt off my boots."Alexis joked, shaking her head with a grin. Even though most of the time she couldn't STAND Seth for even a minute, he was helping cheer her up some.

Seth grinned wider, the dimple in his left cheek flashing for a moment. He swung a jovial arm around Alexis like they were bosom pals. And then he killed the moment by leaning over to her and whispering softly into her ear, "Don't get the whip out yet, you're giving people the wrong impression." He couldn't hold in a slight laugh.
