Seth had a sudden, asthma-attack-like wheezing fit because he was starting to laugh. He clamped his hand over his mouth. "I think I nee-need to g-go lie down."

The cashier girl had still not taken Connor's money, he noted. She was too pale to comprehend anything, apparently. And now they were earning stares from other people. Seth marked this off as one of his better 7-Eleven stories.

"Ca-can we le-leave?" he choked, pulling free of Connor and stumbling to where the old lady stood by the exit. She squeaked and almost fell over in her haste to get out of his way.

I'm so going to hell, the blond thought. But at least he'd go there laughing his head off.

"Come on, Connie-kins!" he called, panting hard.

Connor felt his lips twitching as he nodded, "Coming, dahling!" He said and followed Seth out quickly.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth stepped outside and the instant he and Connor were out of the view of the store's windows, he leaned against the nearest wall and laughed so hard he slid down it to sit on the pavement. "Oh man, tha-that wa-was just priceless!" He wiped tears of laughter out of his eyes, holding onto his aching ribs. "That woman, di-did you see her face? We're damned motherfuckers for sure."

Connor smirked some, shaking his head and sat down by Seth, looking over the boxes. "So- do we even know where she is?"

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth caught his breath after a bit. "Before I answer that...did you pay for 'em, you heathen?"

"....Nooo." Connor grinned. "Five finger discount." He wriggled his fingers and looked over the boxes.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth lifted a hand. "Up top for sheer genius larceny, man." He pulled out his phone with his other hand, scanning through his contacts for the guy he needed.

Connor leaned back, watching the crowd on the streets and the passing by cars as he waited.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth got hold of his friend. They talked silently while Seth explained the ridiculous situation.

"Seriously? Another chick?" Zeke, who Seth knew was probably shaking his head at his damned butler over the wrong cocktail, commented. "DIdn't you try to do that Rachel girl or whoever?"

"Didn't work. She hated me, so she didn't take 'em," Seth replied. "Come on, I got a friend in need here."

Zeke swore but said resignedly, "Fine. You owe me."

"I'll owe you big," Seth answered cheerfully.

"That's what you said the last time," Zeke muttered. "Fine. Come over and I'll fix it up."

Seth hung up and leaped to his feet, kicking Connor. "Let's go, buddy. The Upper East Side is callin'."

[[Seth and Connor to Other apts in Manhattan - Upper East Side]]

"So, ah, any ideas how we're gonna get in there?" Connor asked, looking from their spot near the entrance and where Rose and Alexis was in a aisle, before he turned to look at his partner in crime.

[Tiger-Lily]

"Haven't you learned not to ask me about having "any ideas"?" Seth asked, making air quotation marks with his fingers. He grimaced at the cashier, a pretty girl in her tweens.

He thought for a moment. He glanced around and sure enough, behind her, was a noticeboard with snapshots of him and Connor, taken when they had run out of the store the last time. They were blurred though.

Seth shrugged. "We could just try walking in and see what happens." He strode forward, looking at ease.

Connor smirked to himself and quickly followed in suit, putting his hands in his leather jacket pockets as he followed.

Alexis looked over and rolled her eyes, with a scowl when she saw Seth. Connor was a damn lying DOG. She took Rose's arm and lead her to the aisle farthest from the entrance in hopes of stalling having to talk to him.

The girl at the cash looked up and Seth tensed when she took him in. But she just cracked her gum and flashed a wide smile at him.

Seth shot her a smirk and walked on before she realized he was a renegade.

"She's hot," he said to Connor, as they headed toward the fleeing Alexis and Rose. Seth waited till he and Connor were out of the cash girl's sight before he raised his voice. "Heyyy, girl in the short shorts, you have a nice ass!"

Rose made a face. "Hey jerkwad, fuck off!" She said, flipping him the finger before scowling when she saw Connor. "Oh great."

"Yeah, really, my thoughts exactly." Alexis said through her teeth, wishing her ring wasn't somewhere in her purse. She briefly recalled the Facebook incident and huffed angrily, putting something else in the basket of food.

"It's good to see you out of your cave too," Seth said brightly to Alexis as he and Connor neared them. He gave Rose an obligatory once-over. "Hey, you're kind of hot when you're not pulling faces and running around with illegal Rottweilers."

Rose gave a sweet smile before stomping down on his foot with the heel of her boot. "Like I said- fuck off."She chirped before turning back to picking out things for the cupcakes her and Alexis was gonna make.

"...She's Alexis' best friend, dude. I wouldn't go off sayin' shit, trust me, I dated her."Connor grumbled.

[Tiger-Lily]

"Yo," Seth said, while examining his foot with some pained interest. "This explains why Alexis is so wound up. If she hangs with these types of rodeo queens, I can see why she's so sexually frustrated." He didn't bother to control his volume.

Alexis' mouth dropped open and she gripped at the utensil in her hand tightly, putting down the basket and slowly turned to look at Seth.

"...You're in for it now, dude."Connor grinned widely.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth was reckless, not idiotic. He edged slightly behind Connor when he noticed Alexis' movement.

But if he'd been careful about anything, he'd never be where he was now. So he said, in some mistaken effort to console her, "Not that we can't solve that problem, Lex. Don't worry. I got your cure, right here."

He pointed at an aisle behind her where in the distance, sat racks of condom boxes.

"SETH." Alexis said through her teeth, trying to shove Connor out of the way. "You fucking asshole!"

"Who-hoa.." Rose blinked, putting her hands on her hips as she watched.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth sniggered. "I'm not fuckin' nobody, babe," he taunted her. "I'm waitin' for you."

Any second now, she was going to explode.

"Oh my fucking-" Alexis managed to trip Connor up when he went to step back and shoved him out of the way before slamming Seth into the wall behind him. "You asshole!!"

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth, mildly breathless as the air left his lungs, managed to grin down at Alexis, before wiggling his eyebrows. "Not here, Sexi, i mean, Lexi." His lone dimple deepened in his left cheek. "That cashier was really into me. I don't want her thinking I'm unavailable."

Alexis pursed her lips and brought her knee up nice and hard into his groin. "Dick." She mumbled and turned back around, grabbing the basket and went to storm off for the cash register.

"Oh.. ow.." Connor cringed.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth was really considering wearing one of those groin protection things you wore at athletic events. "God dammit," he swore loudly and a few people glanced over at them. A store helper began walking over and Seth slid down the wall to sit on the floor, eyes watering at the pain.

"What's going on here?" the girl asked, frowning at him sympathetically. Seth widened his eyes up at her and she looked mildly dazed.

Seth could see what James meant by the power of blue eyes.

"Girlfriend kicked me," he gasped out through clenched teeth.

The girl shot Alexis a glare. Before Alexis reached the cash register, the girl said to her, "Miss, please refrain from violence in here."

Seth perked up. "Yeaah, Lexi, let's take it out...outside." He cringed again. "Help me up," he said to Connor.
