Seth sighed and stuck his blue hands in his jacket pockets. "Well at least if she does go, Jake won't have to see it, right? And honestly, if she does get with James, that'll be one more reason for Jake to get over here, right?" he asked uncertainly.

Up ahead, Evelyn's smile had drained off her face in about a half-second. She glanced ahead and then swallowed hard. "Um...I, James, I can't..." she began quietly. "I already have a date. For the formal." She kept her gaze down.

"I guess so." Lola frowned running a hand through her hair. "Maybe its a good thing she goes with him then? "


James shrugged, he promised Luke that he would ask her. It didn't mean that she had to say yest to him. Oh well he really did want to go with Alexis anyway, even if he went with Evelyn it wouldn't have been just to make her jealous. Once it boiled down to it he really didn't want to go that much anyway he never really liked dances.

"That's fine it was just a suggestion, you have fun at the formal then. I kind of honestly didn't want to go. I just wanted to ask Alexis cause I figured she would want to go, and I thought we could just go for fun. But don't worry saves me the trouble of having to rent a tux or something crazy like that." James smiled at Evelyn, he didn't want her to get guilty or anything she should go. One day at home out of the year wouldn't kill him.

Even though he was smiling at her, Evelyn's stomach dropped sickeningly. Yet another incident where she had rejected James. Lovely.

She closed her eyes for a moment and groaned. She stopped walking and punched James' shoulder hard. "What is your problem?!"

James raised both his eyebrows and pushed her back, "What the hell!?"

[Tiger-Lily]

She glared at him. "Seriously? Why are you always doing this? You think I want to say no like some pompous bitch? And then you smile and go all, "Hey, it's fine" and make me feel like I just stomped on a puppy! God, James! You have no idea how annoying this is!" she snapped at him, anger flaring in her eyes.

She turned and walked ahead, hands clenching into fists. Hell if she was feeling guilty yet again! James wasn't her problem! Why in the hell would he even IMAGINE asking her after what she'd told him yesterday?!

James didn't understand why she was even feeling guilty! He didn't want to go!!

Its not like he had asked her hoping and praying she would say yes and she turned him down! He said this to Luke, and just about everyone else for once he did not feel like going to a damn dance and he hadn't said that to make her feel guilty or something!

James stomped through the snow after Evelyn and walked in front of her blocking her path, "Listen! I didn't say that stuff just to make you feel bad or seem like a bitch! If I really wanted to go to this damn formal that everyone seems to want me to go to then I would be a lot more upset if you rejected me! But I COULD CARE LESS! So you don't have to feel bad! Go enjoy yourself or I WILL HURT YOU!" James yelled at her.

[Tiger-Lily]

"YOU COULDN'T TAKE A DAMN PUNCH, DARKO!" Evelyn snapped back at him angrily, refusing to let on that for a second, James had actually startled her.

[Guest]

"OH SHUT UP!" James snapped back! "GO TO THE DAMN DANCE!"

[Tiger-Lily]

"FINE, I WILL!" Evelyn yelled furiously in his face. She reached up and grabbed the scruff of his jacket with both hands, jerking him down to her level so he could see her extremely pissed-off expression clearly. "AND YOU WILL GO WITH ME BECAUSE SO HELP ME IF I DON'T OWE YOU ONE DAMN DATE, ASSHOLE!"

"FINE YOU BITCH! WHAT TIME DO YOU WANT ME TO PICK YOUR ASS UP!" James yelled back looking equally pissed off right back at her. This had to be the weirdest way he had ever accepted a date ever.

[Tiger-Lily]

"SIX-THIRTY!" Evelyn announced angrily in his face. She shoved him backwards and let go. "AND YOU'RE IN MY SPACE!"

[Guest]

"YOU WERE IN MINE FIRST! I WILL BE THERE AND IF YOU'RE NOT READY BY THEN I'M LEAVING YOU!" James hollered earning them several stares from people wandering around on campus.

[Tiger-Lily]

"YOU BETTER BRING ME FLOWERS! AND A CORSAGE!" Evelyn informed him helpfully before stepping around him and heading towards the dorms building....which James was also headed toward. She paused and swung around, snowed-in hair swinging. "I'M WEARING BLACK AND GOLD, FYI, PRICK! YOU BETTER NOT CLASH!"

FML. How am I supposed to make an exit when he's just gonna follow? she wondered, turning away again.

[Guest]

"DON'T WORRY WE WON'T CLASH! BECAUSE WE'LL LOOK DAMN GOOD TOGETHER!!" James retorted and decided that he really couldn't make an exit just because they were heading back to the dorms together, so he decided to march past her and at least get distance between themselves.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn opened her mouth furiously - and then felt her face flare bright red. Had he insulted her or complimented her?

She pulled a face at his back and then continued walking behind him.

Alexis was sat in the cafe, leaning back in her seat with her feet propped up on the table, staring down at her phone as she messed around on facebook. She had a book in her lap with it's book mark in it, having gotten tired of reading for now. She had been out all morning, going from place to place. Rosemary had found a way to break it to her that they were going to Vegas and Alexis wasn't really sure how she felt. She couldn't really blame Ashlee or Evelyn, because they weren't really good friends. She never really was with Ashlee in the first place, and it was mostly her fault that her and Evelyn weren't. But her and Rosemary? What the fuck was that? They used to be like sisters, doing everything together and shared everything.

But now it was like Rosemary was moving on, meeting new people who she got along with, who was more like her. Alexis kept quiet and bit at her bottom lip, flicking through facebook, before playing some random game, reaching over and took her coffee, taking a sip. Mostly she was avoiding talking to Evelyn about it, because it did for some reason, feel like a blow to belong the belt.

Ashton entered the cafe and headed for the counter, ordering a French Vanilla latte and tapping his fingers in some frustration on the counter. As soon as the girl handed him his dirnk, he spped it and then after adding some extra sugar, turned and headded for any empty table.

He pursed his lips, looking around, and then his eyes alighted on a black head of hair. He had a moment of confusion, wondering why she looked familiar (because it didn't look like Ashlee) and then he realized who she was.

Ashton paused and then headed over to her, figuring that he might as well take advantage of some normal people while he was away from Seth. Because God knew the moment he went back home, he was going to want to run out again.

He walked over to her and figured she looked a bit bothered. He figured she was probably about to go back to reading - then again, he'd come here for the same thing. "Hey, Alexis," he greeted her uncertainly. "Mind if i sit?"

Alexis glanced up and furrowed her brows, trying to figure out who he was, before it clicked. Ashton? Or Antonio? She paused and moved to sit up. "Uh- Antonio or Ashton?" She asked hesitatingly.

Ashton cracked a small grin. It had been a while since someone had confused him with Tony since he really didn't meet new people all that often. Before answering though, he raised an eyebrow. "Does my answer depend on you letting me sit?"

"I haven't talked to Antonio before, but Ashton can sit." Alexis said bluntly and raised her eyebrow. "Antonio seems to much like Seth from what I've seen."

[Tiger-Lily]

"Ashton is duly grateful," Ashton replied with a half-smile, sitting down and putting his coffee on the table beside his textbook.

He glanced up at her. "And Antonio's only like Seth when under pressure. You know what Seth can be like, all up in your face and the only way to get him off your back is to say yes. Talk about undue peer pressure!"

Alexis smirked weakly and sat up more, putting her phone and book down on the table. "..That bad at the dorm I take it?" She asked, clasping her hands.

[Tiger-Lily]

Ashton pointed at his textbook and then took a sip of his latte. He put down his cup and licked his lips briefly, wincing. "I ran here. Let's just say that Lucifer does not appreciate being taught how to dougie. Can't blame him, he sucks at it even with all that practice."

"..Dougie?" Alexis said skeptically. She really had no damn idea what that was, because she wasn't really with that "it" things when it came to that.
