"Ahh!" Jake drew his hand back, and could see the blood forming at the crescent marks from Evelyn's claws digging into his hands. That bitch. He noticed though that she had slumped and if he thought she was going to pass out before.

He didn't think he had been that rough. Then again Jake or Evelyn never really knew how to fight where they weren't hurting each other. But he was just messing with her, he didn't mean to kill her! "Hey Red! Wake up, you can't die! I'm not allowed to have a felony on my record!" He shook her.

Evelyn opened her eyes sleepily, realized Jake's face was suddenly looming uncomfortably close and instantly resumed glaring. She reached up, tugging at his wrists feebly to get his hands off her. Her hands felt too weak to make much of a grip. "Don't worry, I'll ensure you get out on parole," she muttered angrily.

Jake loosened his grip on her but not removing his hands from her, "Really?" He widened his eyes, "Would you make sure I got Seth's sexy parole officer too?" He smirked.

Evelyn's hands itched to slap him but she simply let them tug fruitlessly at his wrists. She narrowed her eyes, saying, "Oh, the cougar? Yeah, just make sure her twenty-year-old daughter doesn't catch you."

The lift dinged to announce the impending lobby. Evelyn blew out a puff of breath into Jake's face, smirking.

"Your breath is kickin girl." Jake joked, plugging his nose. The doors opened and he straightened.

"You need help there? Or do you plan to ride the elevator on your ass for the rest of the evening?" Jake asked cheekily, his eyes gleaming.

Evelyn gritted her teeth and straightened, stomping all over his feet as she stepped out of the elevator. By some divine miracle, she also managed to elbow him in the same spot she'd jabbed her finger into his ribcage earlier. She smiled sickly sweetly over her shoulder as she strolled past him. "Oh, I think I'm good."

Jake was bent over groaning, stupid girl! She was trying to hospitalize him! He took a few deep breaths and as he felt the pain subside he stood up straight and followed after her.

Jacob caught up after a few long strides and stuck his leg out and tripped her, "Careful there Red, its real icy this time of year. Don't wanna break that mug of yours."

Evelyn stumbled and clutched at the nearest thing for support - the asshole who'd tripped her. She swayed and smacked her face into his chest. Her nose began to throb. "Shit," she mumbled, and then jerked away hastily, straightening and feeling her whole body flush.

The don on duty gave them a resigned look and returned to his work.

Evelyn shoved Jake away from her. "Get out of my space!" She strode to the lobby doors and swung them open, slipping through and feeling another wave of exhaustion.

"Yeah bitch, Myspace!" Jake hollered. As he waltzed out of the dorms and onto campus behind her.

"Actually Myspace is very 2005. But where you headed to Red, doesn't seem like far since you look like Bambi when he's trying to walk for the first time." Jake walked beside her, then wobbled to imitate her movement.

Jake had gone past the security guards and passed many people who were throwing worried looks, and odd ones when they saw him carrying the limp Evelyn with him into the elevator. After the slow thing finally opened he stormed out into the hall to their suite.

He would have taken Evelyn to her suite but he knew that he would have had to deal with an angry Alexis, and right now he just wanted to help her and not receive anymore bruises. Jacob reached one hand into his pocket, pulling out his key he unlocked the door to their suite kicking it open, then going to his room he took out his key card and swung his door open too.

Antonio heard the doors slam open from the living room and got up to hear who was making all the noise only to see Jake run into his room carrying what looked like ... Evelyn?! Antonio turned back around and pounded on his brothers and Seth's door, "Guys get out here quick!" He yelled panicking.

Jacob had yanked the covers off his bed and lay Evelyn down covering her up, he looked down at her wondering if she was going to be okay. He was really worried. He really hoped she hadn't gotten sick or something he wasn't sure what to do.

Seth poked his head out of his room, tugging off his earphones. "If it's Oprah, Tony, I will kick your ass," he announced pointedly. Antonio had a tendency to overreact, he'd noticed.

Ashton was busy working on an essay, and didn't even look up.

"You guys I'm serious!" Antonio whined, then flailing like a upset chicken, "You guys Jake came in carrying a body! I think he killed someone!"

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth remembered Antonio saying something similar over a month ago.

"You guys! Jake fell out the window!!!"

Seth glared at him and slammed his door, resuming his studying.

Antonio stood there in silence for a moment, blinking a few times before pounding on the door frantically again, "YOU GUYS I'M SERIOUS THIS TIME!"

Jacob walked out of his room to go get Evelyn water, and anything in case she were to wake up when he stopped in his tracks to see a freaked out Antonio attempting to knock down Seth's door.

"Dude..." Jake raised an eyebrow at him.

Antonio hearing Jake's voice stopped and looked at him, "Dude! Did you bring a corpse in here!? Who did you kill! Oh my god we're gonna go to jail! I can't believe it!" The idiot started blurting off.

"What?! No! Tony its not what you think! Calm the hell down!" Jake tried to settle him down, but Antonio backed away from him.

"I knew you were crazy! I can't believe you'd hide a body in here! Especially Evelyn! I thought you liked her, why would you kill her!" Antonio yelled.

"Dude SHUT UP!" Jake said lunging after Antonio and tackling him into the ground, "You're drawing attention to yourself you idiot! Shut up!" Jake covered Antonio's mouth with his hand as Antonio thrashed around beneath the tall Spaniard.

Antonio bit Jake's hand, Jake howled then slammed is arm down into Antonio's rib cage nearly crushing them Antonio flailed underneath Jake's weight, "Help! GUYS!! Jake's.... trying to kill me!" He sputtered between breaths.

Seth heard vague poundings and smacks and thuds from the hallway. He sighed, flipping up his iTunes, and raised the volume way up to drown out the racket Antonio was making.

Then he resumed working out how to fit a mini submarine into the back of a U Haul. Was it legal? Probably not.

Ashton threw open his door, red-faced in anger. "I'M TRYING TO WO- Jake? Why are you strangling him?" he asked as an afterthought, turning to go back inside.

"Because he's being so freaking obnoxious--Ash!" Jake yelled getting up to go after him. He figured that he would be the most helpful, since Antonio and Seth were useless when it came to just about everything

"Listen I need your help with something!" Jake pleaded him.

"No!" Antonio yelled getting up, standing between Jacob and his brother. "You are not involving my brother in your life of crime!" He poked Jake in the chest.

Jacob narrowed his eyes at Antonio and just responded by growling at him. Antonio yelped hiding behind his brother as a shield, Jake just shook his head and grabbed Ashton by the arm, "Come on."

Ashton blinked, mouth open in protest as Jake yanked him God knew where. "My essay," Ashton began plaintively, figuring there was really no point once Jake and Seth had their minds set on something, in trying to stop them.

God damn it, I gotta move out before I flunk college!

Jake dragged Ashton along with him, and Antonio followed behind them like a scared dog.

He brought him into his room and lowered his voice to a whisper, "I was talking to her outside on the quad and she passed out. It looked like she was kind of sick earlier. I brought her here so she could stay warm, but I'm freaking out. Do you think I should take her to the hospital?"

Antonio heard this and slowly edged out of Jake's room before they could notice that he had yet again made a huge deal out of nothing.

Ashton blinked confusedly and then walked over to Jake's bed, deciding to diagnose the brunette/redhead himself. He leaned down and tapped her cheek. And then again a couple times, calling her name. No response. So she wasn't coming round any time soon.

Ashton checked for a pulse. Her pulse was....strong. Just, maybe he was hearing wrong. It sounded a tad too slow....

Ashton leaned down, slightly worried, and placed his hand in front of her mouth and then her nose. Her airways were perfectly clear and she was breathing fine. So what was with her pulse?

"Sprinkle water on her, maybe?" he said uncertainly. "Her vitals seem okay. She just has a slightly slow pulse. But nothing severe."

Jake nodded, "Thanks dude. Sorry I didn't mean to freak out... well actually I think the only person who flipped their shit was Tony, but I think I can handle it from here."

Jake went out to the kitchen to get a cup of water like he had originally planned to, walking past Antonio who had his nose buried in his notes studying for his exams which Jake was going to fail at this point in time. He filled the glass of water and took it to his room and closed the door behind him so that any other noisy distractions wouldn't wake her.

He set the water on his nightstand and was going to sprinkle it over her face a little but looking at her again, she seemed like she was sleeping and Jake figured maybe he'd leave her a little longer. But he was unsure if he should or not.

Jake went across the hall for a moment to grab a small towel and soaked it in cool water, he wrung it out and went back to his room and sat on the side of his bed near her and pat the cool rag across her forehead, "Hey Evelyn. You okay?" He whispered to her. He knew Ashton told him to sprinkle water on her but knowing his luck he'd probably end up drowning her instead.

Sometime between Ashton's diagnosis and Jake returning to his room with the rag, Evelyn had come round. She'd opened her eyes, taken a slow inhale, exhaled and then drifted off into a tired sort of comatose sleep. She was comfortable and so, so tired.

When flecks of water hit her eyes, she stirred, gave a soft murmur in response to the voice that called her name, turning her head just slightly in the direction it came from, and did nothing more.

Ashton had returned to his room. Seth sauntered out after printing off a receipt for a U-Haul rental and sat down in front of the TV. "Tigger, yo," he greeted Antonio, "go study elsewhere! I wanna watch TV!"

Jacob sighed in seeing Evelyn open her eyes, even if it was only for a second. That was enough to confirm she was alive. She probably had passed out from stress or exhaustion. He could relate, on top of studying it just seemed to get busier at work at this time of the year for him so Jake had usually been coming home at night, only to stay up and study for most of the night.

Jake yawned, sitting back against his headboard trying not to wake her, he rested his head on the back and closed his eyes for a brief moment letting out a long breath.


"Go watch TV in your room, I'm set up out here!" Antonio replied running the highlighter over his notes.

[Tiger-Lily]

"My TV is small! Go study in your room!" Seth retorted, flicking on the TV and turning up the volume on MTV. Some pop music video was blaring. "Hey, look, it's Pitbull!" Seth exclaimed, laughing.

He turned his head and hollered, "JACOB! YOUR ANCESTOR IS ON TV!" His voice echoed down the hallway.

Antonio groaned picking up his books to go to his room to study, on any other given day this would have been funny. But he was already freaking out about his biology final as it was and the last thing he needed was Seth.

Jacob had drifted off only to be woken up by what sounded like a raging party in the living room, with a party guest of one that sounded like a million: Seth. Jake too lazy and tired to get up instead pulled out his phone and texted Seth.

Really damn tired, turn down the damn TV!!
