Ashton had been listening and bit his bottom lip really hard to curb back the grin tugging at his mouth.

The instant Jake hung up, Ashton dropped his controller, doubled over and laughed so hard his chest ached. "Oh - oh, man! I wish Seth were here to hear that! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He choked, and wiped his eyes. "Sorry, dude, but - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" He took a few deep breaths.. "Okay, I'm done - Ahahahahahaha! - okay, now I'm done for real!" He grinned widely at Jake. "That was priceless."

Evelyn had rummaged through her closet and found something to wear. Since it was about five now, and the bonfire wasn't till like four hours later, she left her feet bare and changed into a striped shirt and jeans. She yanked on a cardigan over it to keep warm - she wasn't borrowing Jake's sweaters again - and still barefoot, grabbed a scarf to wrap around her neck.

Speaking of Jake's sweaters....

Evelyn stared down at the small heap at the bottom of her closet. A pair of mens' sweatpants, a sweater and two hoodies. She fought back a wave of nausea and tried to calm her racing heartbeat. What to do with them?

She didn't want to throw them away...but she also didn't want to wear them. It just felt wrong. And weird.

Evelyn gnawed her lip, reaching down and picking up the black hoodie she often wore when it got too cold at night, the one Nova loved playing tug-of-war with. She heaved a sigh, debating inside her head.

Why should she throw it away? It was a damn comfortable hoodie. And now it was hers. Its previous (asshole) owner could just suck it.

Evelyn kneelt, picked up Jake's pile of ex-clothes and began hanging them up in her closet, fighting back a sudden hotness behind her eyelids.

Jacob picked up his head and scowled at Ashton, and responded by throwing a pillow in his face. This time his phone had been set from silent to vibrate again, so he would be forced to stare at his phone for whoever called.

But in his wave of annoyance, his phone rang again and he repeated his old habit, "What?!" He snapped.

"Aww nice to hear you too babe." Rachel's smug voice cut through the air.

Jake's brown eyes went wide when he realized who he had picked up the phone but he maintained his cool, "Oh yeah I could tell you wanted to talk to me so badly since you wouldn't quick calling me? Desperate much? What do you want slut?" Jake growled.

Rachel laughed, "Oh honey I know you've missed me, and I figured since you and that clone are over. I pop in for a visit. Can you believe that we both go to the same school and I hardly see you,but don't you worry. I caught wind of that lovely little bonfire you and your idiot friend are having and I figured I drop by, maybe start a fire of our own." She purred in his ear.

"Don't make me vomit breakfast whore, don't you come anywhere near me or I'll throw you off that roof myself personally." Jacob threatened her. He wasn't above that.

"Its okay Jakey, no need to get all flustered. You'll see me tonight. Have to go, Ciao!" She chirped obnoxiously in his ear and hung up on him.

Jacob made strangling motions and took his phone and threw it as hard as he could against the wall, the back flew off along with the battery and the SIM card. There that would keep the damn thing from ringing for now. Which for him was better because now he wouldn't have to look at his damn screen for Rachel's damn phone calls or anyone else's for that fact.

Ashlee had changed out of her outfit, just putting on a striped tank top layering a t-shirt and her Juicy hoodie over it. She figured it would keep her warm enough and if she still felt cold she had a scarf and some gloves in her bag.

She had been braiding her hair in a messy braid off to the side of her head, as she walked over to Evelyn's room and leaned in the doorway, "You look cute, so should we work on that potion thing now or wait a little longer?" Ashlee asked her.

"We should just get started on the thing," Evelyn replied, turning with the last of Jake's hoodies over her arm.

She tossed it on her bed, stepped over the puppy snoozing on the floor and walked past Ashlee to the kitchen. She got the kettle going and then came back out. "Hey, what're Luke and James up to tonight?" she asked, wondering if maybe she could just skip the bonfire altogether and go hang with them. "If worse comes to worst, I'll just go hang with them."

Man, I must be desperate if I'm considering hanging with James.

"Okay, that wasn't Evelyn, was it?" Ashton asked quietly in the tight silence.

Ashlee raised her hand and gaped at Evelyn in disbelief, "Hang with James? Wow you sound desperate to get out of this." She snorted, then shrugged, "I have no clue. I talked to Luke, he was invited but he said he wasn't going so I guess him and James are just gonna hang out or do their own thing."

"No, it was that backstabbing stupid whore Rachel! She's been calling and texting me all god damn day and now she says she wants to show up at the fucking bonfire! UGH! I'm not going. First Evelyn, now her! That is too much insanity I cannot handle at once!" Jake yelled frustrated. How was it that Rachel always knew when his life was sucking the most!?

Evelyn bit her lip and walked past Ashlee back to her room. She picked her cell phone up off her nightstand and texted James as a backup. What r u and Luke doin 2nite?

Ashton cringed, feeling sorry for the flustered Jake. He wished Seth wee here to cheer the guy up. Ashton sucked at that. He ran a hand through his hair. "Um, well, we'll save ya some s'mores?" he said weakly. He sat up and picked up his controller. "Wanna blow heads off zombies?" He quit his game and plucked out the CD.

Jake smiled, god Ashton sucked at crap like this. Not that Seth was that much better but whatever, he was trying. "You don't have to I'm gonna show up. I don't care if she's there. But yeah hook me up. Blowing up something sounds so good right now. "

Ashton cracked a grin and slid the CoD CD into the PS3. He started up the multiplayer zombie mode and tossed a controller to Jake. "You can always take the fire escape if you need to get away. It is for emergencies."

Evelyn tossed down her phone and sat on her bed, folding her legs underneath her. "Hm, you know what's annoying? This whole Jake thing is pretty much going to ensure you and I never get to double-date with hot twins again," she joked.

Ashlee took a seat on Evelyn's chair, "Hey me and Ashton are hitting it off pretty damn well, if things continue to go well I won't have to use you as an excuse to cisit anymore." Ashlee grinned.

"Jumping off the roof is faster, I did earlier and it was sweeet!" Jake hollered, waiting for their mission to load.

[Tiger-Lily]

"You nearly gave Tony a heart attack!" Ashton pointed out with a grin. "Seriously, between this and your whole attitude to him dating Evelyn - because, let's face it, you disapprove - he's not gonna make it through this year alive."

"You guys would be cute together," Evelyn said.

She paused and then blurted out something on her mind that she'd been thinking when she'd walked to the door to let Ashlee in. "Are you going to Seth's Babe Hunt thing? Because if not, I say you should."

"Oh my god! Yes I'm going! Not as a potential girlfriend, but to watch. That sounds too funny not to watch. You gonna go?" Ashlee asked, she knew Evelyn couldn't resist seeing that.

"Ha! Don't worry I hadn't planned to give him a heart attack, but I guess that worked in my favor. But I do stupid shit like that all the time, even if a girl isn't involved." Jake grinned, fending Ashton's player off from zombies.

Evelyn bit her lip. She really did want to go see what torture Seth would subject those victims to, but...

"Jake'll be there," she muttered, losing her good mood. "He's Seth's wingman." She perked up. "And I didn't mean that you should just watch, Ashlee. Think about it, they want psycho and fun, right?" She grinned wider. "Who better?"

"Speaking of, Tony's been silent today," Ashton commented. "I think you scared him for good, dude."

"I think Seth has a type. If I remember correctly the invite said, "Blond, big rack, lacking morals?" I'm not blond, I don't have a big rack but a good sized one. Although I can be a bit hmm feisty. I do have some morals." Ashlee listed, with a smirk.

"I walked by his room earlier, guys napping. Trust me I could do a lot worse. Actually I can really scare him good if you want." Jake grinned devilishly. He knew that torturing Antonio was cruel but it was funny at times too.

"Damn it, bro," Ashotn said ruefully. "Bro code dictates I decline, but if, say, you were to not tell me what you were doing, or when you did it, then it'd be okay."

"You should've brought your roommate," Evelyn said, shaking her head as she recalled Oriana. "That, or a blond wig."

Ashlee gagged, "Don't mention her name. I swear she's so vile. I've been trying to get out of the lease so I can move in anywhere but with her! Actually I'd rather live in the gorilla cage at Central Park Zoo,than with with her."

"Don't worry Ash, I won't mention that you had anything to do with it." Jake grinned, putting his controller down. Jacob skipped off to his room, he went rummaging through his drawers to see if he had actually packed what he had been looking for and "Ah ha! Yes!" Jacob pulled the small holder that looked like would contain a retainer.

He went to the kitchen opening it up and pulled out fangs that Lola had let him borrow when he was a vampire for Halloween the year before. Unlike the plastic ones though, Lola always got realistic looking things for her costumes and these teeth look like they came straight from a real living vampire if there was such a thing. Jacob inserted the fake canines into his teeth, and opened the fridge finding one of the small ketchup packets he bit down into it with the fangs so they had the bloodied appearance, as well as grabbing one of the largest knives they had in the kitchen.

Before exiting the kitchen, Jake gave a sinister sort of smile into the reflection of the toaster. Damn he almost scared himself! Jacob slowly stalked out of the kitchen to Antonio's open door, he noticed his sleeping form.

Antonio had been napping, and Jacob slowly climbed up onto his bed bringing the knife slowly up to his shoulder he took a deep breath, his mouth twitching into a sick sort of smile, Jacob let out loud roar the ketchup (blood) dripping from his weapon and his teeth, "PREPARE TO DIE!"

Antonio's eyes flew open when he saw the vampire Spaniard standing over him all maniacal and sinister, with a butcher knife in his hand looking like he had already killed! Antonio paled falling off his bed and scooting back into the wall he let out a real high screech, "WHAT DID YOU DO?!"

Jake hopped off his bed cornering him, "I was hungry and killed your brother and you're next you little bitch! HAHAHAH!" Jake threw his head back laughing evilly, drawing back the knife and throwing it so it landed in the wall right next to Antonio's head.

"AHH!" Antonio freaked out ducking his head down and shaking violently, he couldn't believe it! Jacob had finally snapped and he had killed his twin! This was so terrible and instead of trying to save his own life he was sitting there in the corner by himself shaking like a little kid.

"Jacob please! I'm sorry I didn't mean it! I can't believe you! You're so fucking sick! I can't believe you killed my brother you bastard!" Antonio yelled.

"Aww you miss your brother?" Jacob mocked Antonio cruelly, "Its okay he went quietly." Jacob had approached him slowly yanking the knife out of the dry wall, plaster showering the floor, "I can't say the same for you." Jacob raised the knife over Antonio's head and Antonio screamed again.

At that point Jacob really couldn't take it anymore he dropped the knife and started laughing so hard he couldn't see straight, "Oh man! HAHAHAHAHAA!"

Antonio opened one eye to see Jacob standing over him laughing hysterically, and raised an eyebrow. He slowly stood up not sure whether or not this was part of Jake losing it mentally or not but he didn't want to make any more sudden movements in case he reverted back to crazy Jake and remembered that he was supposed to kill Antonio.

"Dude... I can't believe... HAHAHAH! I can't believe you fell for that!" Jake gasped in between laughter, doubled over in a laughing fit. He knew that it was really cruel and sick and that for sure he was going to hell but Antonio's facial expression was so priceless.

"Fell for it...?" Antonio muttered Jake's words in a state of pure confusion as the fear started to subside a bit.

Jacob sniffed wiping a tear from his eye, "Yeah dude... it was a joke! Ash isn't dead he's in the living room. I was just kidding."

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn stifled a grin. "Just a heads up. When Ashton added me to his Facebook, and Tony too, I noticed they knew her. Keep an eye on your new man, Ashlee. In case she turns up tonight."

Just then, the front door slammed shut and steps sounded outside announcing Alexis' return from Rose's.

Evelyn got to her feet, nearly tripped over Nova and stumbled into the hallway outside her dorm room. "Hey, Lex." She headed for the kitchen and restarted the kettle again. "You're coming to the bonfire right?" she asked her roommate.

"Actually," Ashton said from the doorway. "Ash is right here. And feeling weird addressing himself in third person." He smirked at his brother. ""That was a marvelous screech, by the way. I'll bet people in Albuquerque heard ya."

He glanced at Vampire Jake. "I'm gonna head up to the roof. Seth texted me to tell me we gotta get lights set up there since it gets dark too quickly nowadays." He flashed an amused grin at his brother and turned, heading to the kitchen to grab the stuff Seth had bought, containing a box of Christmas lights.

Ashton headed out of the suite and, because he wasn't inflicted with the mental retardation of his roommates, to the elevator to get to the roof.

"Uhm, yeah. Rose is going up too, well, more like I'm dragging her too." Alexis said, putting her jacket down onto the couch, pushing up her shirt sleeves up to her elbows.

Antonio got up, now that his heart rate was back down to normal and he was no longer white as a ghost he had grabbed a hoodie and went to follow his brother, not saying too much to Jake. He knew that Jake was still pretty mad at him or at least he thought he had gotten over it. Although Jake did like to play pranks like this, this one was kind of funny but at the same time pretty cruel.

Antonio really thought that Ashton was dead and he was next.

"Wait up Tony." Jake said going into his room real quick he found a gray hoodie and put it on over his t-shirt. He went to the bathroom really quick to wipe the ketchup off his fangs so they wouldn't get moldy or something like that, but as he went to take them out they wouldn't budge, and Jake remembered why he didn't wear them anymore.

They got stuck last year and he had to go to the dentist and have him pull them out. "Fuck!" Jake cursed, and realized maybe karma had gotten him back for being such a douche to Antonio. Oh well it was Halloween the next day anyway so he'd just make it work.

"Come on lets go." Jake said, Antonio followed him silently and raised an eyebrow, "Um dude what the--?"

"Yeah they're stuck, I have to go to the dentist on Monday so he can yank em out. Let's go." Jake said opening the door Antonio stifling a few laughs behind Jacob as they went up to the roof after Ashton, they had set up the lights, and had the bonfire pit rigged up so they could start the fire all that was left now was for everyone else to come.

Ashlee waved at Alexis in greeting, although she didn't like knowing that Oriana and the twins were friends. Especially her and Ashton. God was there anyone in this city who hadn't had her tongue down that girls throat?

Ashlee didn't want to think about that, for all she knew they could be friends. Then again Ashton was so nice and Oriana it was hard to imagine her with anything more than a person to sleep with.

"I'm sure it won't be THAT bad. Besides we can watch the guys choke on that vile tea." Ashlee scrunched her nose remembering the taste.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn walked to her room, grabbed the sheet of printed recipe instructions and brought it to the kitchen. She went about concocting the stupid love potion once more as she talked to the girls. "Speaking of vile tea....whose name did you say when you drank yours last Saturday?" Evelyn asked Alexis bluntly. "We have to make sure he gets a sip of this else it won't work."

"Out of my way!"

There were shrill screams as Seth leaned forward and skateboarded through the lobby door a girl was holding open for her friend. The guy on don duty raised an eyebrow and smirked but said nothing as Seth blew past him on his board, flashing a thumbs up. Two guys from his floor whooped as he skirted around them.

Ahead of him, the elevator doors clanged open. The two girls inside it screamed as Seth barreled toward them. He waited till he was about five feet away, and then brought his feet down hard on the nose end of his skateboard. The board flipped forwards, flitting vertically between his legs and landing squarely on its wheels, and Seth's feet landed on it again, one foot stomping the tail and stopping it right as he reached the elevator.

The girls looked awed. Seth cracked a dimpled grin as he stepped off his board, picked it up and strutted into the elevator. One of them giggled and sent him a smile as her friend dragged her out. Seth's smirk widened and he punched 5 on the CP. To his amusement, some other girls were headed his way, even if some of them looked al little wary of sharing the tiny box with him.

A few minutes later, he was sauntering down to his suite door with three numbers added to his phone. He shoved open the door and breezed through. "The Godfather is HOME, bitches -!"

The suite was empty.

"Aw, you gotta be kidding me!" Seth's face fell adn then he realized where they'd be. It was nearly eight.

He dropped his skateboard in his room, dumped cat chow in Lucifer's bowl, stroked the cat's head for a second and then readjusting the gray beanie over his hair, headed upstairs. He could hear his roommates' voices through the door that led to the roof.

He burst through the roof entrance like a shiny Koolaid. "THE PARTY IS HEEEEERE!"

Ashton dropped the block of wood he was holding, onto Jake's foot. "Shit!"

"Ow SHIT! God damn it Seth!" Jake cursed him hobbling around on one foot, while the other one throbbed from having a tree dropped on it. Seth always had to make an entrance, although it had been Ashton who had dropped the log he still cursed Seth.

Alexis sighed, running her fingers through her hair, which she got cut for blunt bangs in the front. "Sethan's." She rolled her eyes, regretting doing so.

[Tiger-Lily]

"Sweet!" Evelyn exclaimed, suddenly looking forward to the night. "This will be epic." She brewed the tea some in a pot. "Okay, this is ready. When it cools, we'll have to put it in some alcohol to give to the boys. What about the other guys though?" she asked.

Seth was examining the set up. He grinned as he stared at the bonfire. "Hey, be right back!"

He tore back down the stairs gleefully.

"This sounds bad," Ashton muttered, stooping to grab the block of wood and pile it beside the bonfire heap as refuel.

"Does it ever sound good when its Seth?" Jake stated truthfully, setting up chairs around the bonfire pit.

"Hmmm I dunno, maybe after they drink it we make sure we get rid of the tea or something like that? That way no one else does, or can really trace it back to us." Ashlee suggested.

[Tiger-Lily]

"Yeah but is it safe to just give it to them if we haven't said their names? Because I doubt it'd work. For them, this would be the OPENING part of the whole spell thing." Evelyn gnawed her lip and shrugged. "Ah, whatever. Three of them is enough."

She checked her watch. Half an hour to go. "You guys wanna watch a movie? We can be fashionably late."

Seth clattered back upstairs with his skateboard.

On the way, though, he passed the boys he'd seen downstairs.

"Hey, Seth!" one of them, Jared, hailed him as he passed. Seth glanced over his shoulder questioningly.

"Lookin' forward to the bonfire tonight!" Jared said, grinning as he walked off.

Seth paused in his tracks. "Bonfire?" He couldn't recall inviting these guys.

Jared looked back at him. His friend, some kid named Hal, nodded. "Your bonfire thing. Everyone's talking about it. Don't worry, though, the dons either don't know or don't care. I heard a couple of them might even show up and join in."

Uninvited, Seth thought, but he smiled anyways and nodded and walked on.

He reached the roof and strolled over to where Jake was arranging the wood. "So, guess what?" Seth set down his skateboard and braced a foot on it. "There's serious buzz goin' round about our bonfire thing. Jared, that kid down the hall, is apparently coming, so is his friend and according to them, half the building will be here tonight. Is that cool or what?" He grinned.

"Or what," Ashton interrupted irritably. "You idiot! We'll get suspended if we're busted, you realize that? This is why it was supposed to be SMALL-scale, Seth!"

"Don't get your underwear in a twist," Seth replied. "Nobody's gonna be lame enough to tell on us. Hell, Jared says a few of the dons will be JOINING us! THAT is a major point in our favor. Lighten up!" He slapped Ashton on the back.

"I'm gonna go shower actually. I feel yucky." Alexis smirked, messing with her hair still. "What movie though?"

Antonio shook his head, leave it for Seth to actually be excited about getting busted and getting kicked out of school.

"Dude!" Jake let out a huff, there was no point in even saying anything. Jake had a feeling that the word had gotten out, and of course since She-Bitch was showing up he knew it was probably going to become a larger crowd than expected.

Jake flicked his eyes at Ashton, "See I told you its never good with Seth."

"I don't care, let's watch whatever." Ashlee shrugged, as she sat down on the couch her phone vibrated in her sweater pocket. She pulled it out and read the message, "Huh, well so much for small bonfire. Just got a text from my friend in my design class, she just asked me if I was going to be up on the roof tonight. Looks like word got out." Ashlee giggled, responding to her friend.
