Evelyn had managed to compose herself by now, at least until she got home.

She looked up at James as she stood, eyes twinkling. "Aren't you a gracious loser?" She winked at him and added generously, "I'll let you win next time."

"Pfftt you don't need to, I'm a natural winner." James bragged.

[Tiger-Lily]

"You don't win at everything, James," Evelyn reminded him, picking up her coat and strolling past him smugly.

James watched Evelyn as she walked ahead of him and he snorted. "You don't have to remind me."

[Tiger-Lily]

She turned and threw him a grin over her shoulder. Turning, she grabbed her bag and coat and made her way back to the attendant at the desk, ignoring his not-so-subtle onceover.

Honestly, she was glad she'd not headed home alone now.

She and James got their shoes back and she sat down to slip them on before grabbing her outer coat and yanking it on, feeling relieved once it covered her up. "Ready to go?"

"Yeah, gotta get home. This old fart has class early tomorrow. And if I don't get my eight hours I can't function." James joked.

[Tiger-Lily]

"Ooh, Jamesy needs his beauty sleep," Evelyn cooed, reaching up and pinching his cheek as they headed for the entrance.

[Guest]

"I'm already perfection, so it just enhances the natural born beauty I am." James puffed up importantly as they exited the bowling alley.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn had to laugh at this; it was so James. She shook her head. "Oh yeah, I'm basking in your sheer beauty. In fact, the glow radiating off of you is powering Broadway no doubt."

They stepped out and began the walk to campus.
