Jacob rolled his eyes, Seth was so obnoxious. "Hey wait! I'm hungry make me something."

Evelyn groaned. "I can't just reschedule. My ticket doesn't allow it! And I doubt I'd get a flight three days before we leave," she added grumpily. "Great, this will be a long, pleasant journey!"

"How about a nice, new attitude?" Seth chirped as he found a package of Thai noodles.

"How about you make me lunch, bitch?" Jake said, sprawling out on the couch. Jake could act however the hell he wanted.

"Ev, it won't be that bad. Just put on your iPod and take a sleeping pill. And before you know it you'll be in Ash Creek." Ashlee said lightly, its not like Ashlee planned this! She felt bad.

Evelyn's answer was a glare. Nova waddled out of Evelyn's dorm room and yipped in greeting at Ashlee.

"So did you and Luke solve it yet?" Evelyn asked, wanting a subject change.

Seth glanced up from the noodles he was boiling and lifted an eyebrow. Jake was extremely lucky Seth tended to stay even-tempered. Otherwise there would have been blood all over the walls months ago.

"How about you man up and quit bitching?" Seth called back, smirking to himself. "Seriously, meds won't kill you."

He pulled out his phone and absently texted Ashlee. Any luck in the Evelyn front?

"Nope, he's kind of been avoiding me. I think that idiot James blabbed to him, its okay then I guess. I'm sure once we get to Ash Creek maybe I can talk to him." Ashlee looked down at her phone and replied.

Kind of, she's decided to go but is mad now that we're taking different flights and she has to fly back home with James. How r thing with Jake?

"Don't tell me what to do." Jake said irritably, sliding off the counter to walk around the dorm. He was getting kind of antsy being in his original spot.

Seth simply smirked wider.

Just then, the door swung open and Ashton and Lola entered. Ashton was carrying a tote bag that probably was not his, along with his own backpack. He looked up as Jake got off the couch. "Yo. WHat's cooking, Seth?" he called, hearing the blond moving around the kitchen.

Ashton moved to the table and set down Lola's tote bag (she had a few books in her arms), and pulled off his jacket. "Shit, it's freezing out there!"

Seth replied to Ashlee: Jake is beign his usual cranky self. Add in a lack of his meds (IDK if you knew he took meds) and a lack of his ex-wifey and he's PO'd. D:

"I kind of miss the park," Evelyn murmured, remembering the basketball court. She winced. "Try not to break his nose with a basketball this time, though."

Ashlee scoffed, "Its cause he was hitting on some ho. Besides he'll only get a basketball to the face if he deserves it! Or if he eats my candy again."

Jacob's eyes were focused on Lola on Ashton, since when were these two spending so much time together? Jake wasn't sure if he liked this too much. Lola was like his sister, and Ashton was his roommate and if Ashton did anything to her. He'd kill him.

"Where were you guys?" Jake asked, sending Ashton a glare.

In the kitchen, Seth rolled his eyes. Here we go.

He texted Ashlee: Now he's grilin Ash & Lo D: Tell Red to just fuck him already. Maybe then he'll be mellow n take his meds.

Ashton looked up at Jake, dropping his jacket on the chair and kneeling yank off his snow boots. "I saw Lola on my way home from class," he answered easily, not noticing Jake's ominous tone. "Since it was freezing, went to get coffee."

Evelyn smiled a little at this. "If I recall correctly, the only girls Luke talked to were me and that blond, Brit-something."

She pulled out her phone on an impulse. There was still something she hadn't told Ashlee about Seth's birthday.

She hadn't told anyone, not even Seth, that Jake had gone dangerously suicidal. So it made her feel somewhat relieved every time she saw Jake in one piece in the hallway.

You have a moment? I have something to tell you, she texted Lola. She'd be going to Ash Creek. She wouldn't really be able to keep tabs on the idiot Spaniard.

"Uh huh sure. That's your story." Jake said narrowing his eyes at Ashton.

Lola rolled her eyes at Jake. "Seriously, dad. Calm down that's the story, did you take your meds?" Lola went to take out her phone and saw a message from Evelyn, she raised an eyebrow.

Yeah sure what's up?

"Why the fuck does it matter?" Jacob snapped, why was his medication always the topic of conversation with everyone. It was his choice to take it, and today he didn't feel like it. Jesus Christ.

Sex releases endorphins, Ev is all stressed out and wound up. She needs a good lay. Ashlee sent back.

"That Brittany bitch was like sitting in his lap on the first day of school! Or something like that, I hated her. " Ashlee said making a face remembering the whorish blond.

"Didn't she have a crush on Luke, though? She was just a lot more blunt about it," Evelyn recalled, rubbing Nova's head between his ears. The puppy wagged hsi tail happily, drooling all over her hand. She cringed.

She used her other hand to text Lola back. Can I call u atm?

Ashton walked around Jake and to his room. "Maybe because you're jumping on everyone's backs is why," he said calmly.

Seth replied to Ashlee. Does this mean we should do something? ;D

As flattered as I am , I really think we should be joining forces for a greater cause here. Ashlee sent back to Seth and looked up at Evelyn.

"You mean she was a whore, she got pregnant our junior year. So I may have become trashy but I was at least safe about it." Ashlee said bluntly remembering how Brittany was your typical blond cheerleader bimbo.

Lola read Evelyn's message, she looked around since she was with the boys currently. She wasn't sure if Evelyn could say what she wanted, but maybe she could go to the bathroom. Hmmm hold on give me a minute, okay?. Lola rolled her eyes at Jacob and watched him sulk off to his room.

"Jake take your meds!" Lola scolded him, going into their bathroom and closing the door behind her. She sent Evelyn a message back. Okay you're good to call.

Evelyn cringed. "She got pregnant? I don't remember..." She frowned. "To who?!"

She looked down at her phone. OH shit!

She got up and glanced at Ashlee. "Be right back. Gotta take a call! Grab a bite from te kitchen if you want anything."

She headed for her dorm room and closed the oor, sitting down on her bed. She found Lola's number on her contacts and dialed.

Seth snorted as he read Ashlee's text. He checked on the noodles, poured the water out over a colander, and then rpelied to her. Dirty gurl. ;D No, I mean, SHOULD we butt in on their beeswax again?

Ashlee nodded at Evelyn, she wasn't that hungry so she plopped on the couch streching out and bit her lip. ;D! Idk, I mean seems like every time we get involved it gets worse. I mean I just want them to be civil, but what do you propose if we do decide to get involved?

Lola had been in the bathroom she had answered Evelyn's call. "Hey Evelyn what's up--"

"Lola get out of the bathroom I need to take my meds!" Jacob interrupted, he had heard Lola mention Evelyn's name and wondered just why she was talking to Evelyn?

Lola heard that and quickly hung up, switching over to text Evelyn, she knew Jake would be nosy and figured texting would probably be better. "Okay hold on princess." Lola pretended to wash her hands and walked out of the bathroom chatting with Evelyn on Facebook chat.

Jake eyed Lola suspiciously, but shrugged it off. Thinking maybe she was talking to Ashton or someone, and decided to take his medication and stable himself before he went and beat up Ashton.

Ashton walked out of his room, dressed in comfy sweats and a hoodie. he went to the kitchen, passing Lola on her phone, and perched on the counter. "Need help?"

"Nah," Seth said, more immersed in texting. Atm, Jake is bitching at everyone. : Handcuff them together?

He looked up. "JACOB! Chicken or beef?"

Jacob took out his medication making a face at the bottle and shouted back to Seth. "Chicken!" He pulled out two pills and shoved them into his mouth, and stuck his head under the faucet swallowing them.

Kinky, I really think we should. It will probably work best if they're stuck together. Ashlee said crossing her legs on the couch.

How would they go to the bathroom and shit? Or shower. Well, I doubt that' dbe a problem. ;D Seth replied with a smug grin in the general direction of the bathroom.

"What're you smirking at?" Ashton wondered curiously. He picked up a piece of thai noodle and swallowed it.

"Hey!" Seth slapped his hand and then began frying the chicken for the noodles. "If you'r enot gonna be helpful, go give Luce a bath!"

"Jake! Give Luce a bath!" Ashton chimed loudly.

Ashlee snorted. Naked Ev and Jake, I doubt either of them would mind XDDD

Jacob pulled a face at the white feline as it strutted by, and then realized he missed Nova. Of course seeing Nova would be out of the question now since Jake had given him to Evelyn to have as her pet, even though he had found the beagle on the streets. Jake could feel his medication sort of kicking in, and felt himself sort of mellow out a bit.

Why had he been tense around Ashton and Lola? They were just hanging out. He shouldn't have snapped at Seth either.

"Umm... I'm not giving Luce a bath!" Jake said waltzing back out and saw Lola texting furiously, wondering just what was so urgent.

"Hey Lo, your lover is here who are you texting so anxiously?" Jake snickered.

Lola had finished talking to Evelyn and looked up at Jacob, he seemed okay now almost normal. Probably because he had taken his medication. Someone should have to force feed that to him. "None of your business! Hey Tinkerbell, is lunch ready yet I'm hungry." Lola said shoving her phone in her jean pocket and walking to the kitchen.

Seht snorted at Lola. "Nobody invited you!"

"I did, she's here as my guest," Ashton said smugly. Seth pulled a face at him.

He put down his ladle and replied to Ashlee. Jake wouldn't. Boy needs to get laid. He's done nothing but be grouchy ever since! And he goes all stoic whenever we run into Red in the hallways. She jsut pulls a deer-in-headlights and runs for it. XD Seriously, you think it would work? I can totally get serious handcuffs.

Evelyn had talked to Lola about Jake's "suicide moment" at Seht's party. It had shaken her up badly, after the anger at James had faded. She's kind of regretted being so cold to Jake. What if she pushed him over the edge?

Half of her had wanted to stop him in the halls when she saw him, but her cowardly self refused. But she knew she wouldn't be able to rest until someone was keeping an eye on him.

Although the chat wiht Lola had kind of horrified her. Jake had attempted to kill himself before? It made sense, she reflected, as she got onto her laptop.

Didn't lithium itself have some severe depression side effects?

Google confirmed it id. She skimmed a few symptoms of bipolarity. It explained Jake's "episode".

She'd almost blurted to Lola the incident about Jake hitting Carmen. An once, almost hitting her.

She closed her laptop and walked back to the living room, trying to push back the heavy weight of worry on her chest. "Whatcha doing?" she asked Ashlee, sitting down by her feet.

"Talking to Jesse, he gets in the same day we do. Except he's gonna be back home in the evening." Ashlee said to Evelyn as she texted Seth.

I'm game for it but it might have to wait until we get back from Ash Creek since Ev has decided to go

"Yeah so feed me." Lola said flicking Seth's head.

Jake had narrowed his eyes at Ashton's remark, Lola had caught this and decided to distract Jacob. So she punched him in the arm. "Your face is gonna get stuck if you keep pulling those ugly faces."

Jake just rolled his eyes at Lola and went to go sit on the couch.

Seth shot Ashton a warning look when Ashton opened his mouth. Ashton frowned back stubbornly. "What?" he asked, lowering his voice. "I'm supposed to ignore him being this ridiculous?"

"Yes," Seth said shortly, returning to texting Ashlee

He froze in disbelief, staring at his phone. Evelyn was going?! But...Jake was going...

Seth hesitated, texting Ashlee, then putting away his phone while he stirred sauce into the chicken.

Um...it might not have to wait. Jake and I are jetting there. Surprise?

"Ooh," Evelyn commented distractedly as she flicked on the TV.

Ashlee's eyes widened and she nearly fell off the couch! Jacob was going! Oh no first James, and now Jake! If Evelyn knew this she would definitely not go.

Of course Ashlee was getting sick of this whole thing between Evelyn and Jacob. Even if they ended up friends it would be better than how they were acting.

What??!! Why are you guys coming to Ash Creek??

Don't be so rude. D: We have nothin else to do on our break! U can show us around! Plus we can now reunite the Ducks ;D

Seth put his phone in his pocket and grabbed a serving dish. After filling it, he walke to the table and glanced at grouchy Jake. "Yo, loser! Dinner!" Ashton hopped off the counter and followed.

"Where's Tones?" he asked.

Evelyn was still watching a movie she'd stopped at, some ol Adam Sandler flick. Nova climbed onto her lap and shifted till he found a comfy spot. She lost breath for a moment and then glanced at Ashlee. "So do we have a plan or something to do in Ash Creek?"

"Theee funnn hass arrivedd!!" Antonio announced kicking the door open of their suite. Antonio had walked in setting his back pack down, he took off his jacket and pulled a Nerf gun from his back pack!

"Guys look what I got from work." He grinned excitedly shooting Ashton with a foam dart.

Ashlee looked up at Evelyn, putting her phone into her purse. "Um you know, I was thinking we walk around town you know hang out at the park, hang with Haley. I wanted to go back to school and see my old teacher and stuff."

Evelyn shrugged. "Sure," she said distractedly. "They should make a modern remake of Gone With the Wind. I didn't find Clark Gable all that attractive in the original. He was too damn old!"

"Tony!" Ashton yelped, rubbing his eyelid. The foam dart had clunked to the floor. He bent an picked it up, stuffing it down the back of Antonio's shirt.

Seth sniggered as he answered Ashlee's text. Can u get on Red's FB? I think we should do a lil editing. ;D

Antonio yelped reaching down the back of shirt and pulling out the foam dart. "Ash, don't be such a hater."

Jacob snickered, taking a forkful of noodles and shoveling it into his mouth.

"I think he's pretty dapper looking you know for the time and such." Ashlee said watching the movie for a moment. "Although if they did re-make a classic, who would play him?" Ashlee asked.
