"Alright then we'll go. If you need anything, or something happens call us." Lola said to Evelyn she walked to Seth and yanked his hair."Come on Tinkerbell."

"Owww! Fuck!" Seth wailed. He pulled free and resettled his hair. "Calm your libido woman."

Evelyn watched them and wondered if this was a bad idea.

"My libido?! I'd have to be blind, deaf, and mute. To even consider thinking about wanting to even be even partially nude around you!" Lola yelled at Seth.

[Tiger-Lily]

"Oh, so you've considered it?" Seth asked her, eying her with a grin. He strutted to the door.

"Oh Lord," Evelyn muttered.

"The only thing I've considered is whether or not I should kill you now or later!" Lola yelled as they exited Evelyn's suite.

Jacob heard the voices shouting and then fading off, he knew them to be Lola's and Seth's. He remembered how they were always bickering like two children. Just as he saw Evelyn close her door to her suite, he tried opening the living room window. But it didn't budge.

Of course it was locked, but nothing he couldn't take care of. He took out his knife jiggling it under the lock. It opened easily and he slid the window open as he walked in he heard something in his ear something like a faint whisper, almost like a chant. He winced audibly as he froze on the window sill.

Some shots of pain bursting through him. Something was wrong. The demon could feel that there was something on this window, there to harm him if he tried to break into Evelyn's living room, but he pushed through the pain landing inside. This was his only chance to have her alone, and even that stupid mutt was gone.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn had headed into the kitchen for a drink of water. She filled her glass from a filter jug and turned to lean against a counter, taking slow sips of water. She licked her lips and put down her glass, and as she did so, the pen marks on the inside of her wrists showed.

A line from each of the scriptures, one used by exorcists. Surprising what you could find if you looked on-line hard enough. It was specifically to ward off a demon but not necessarily eradicate them, and just a safety measure.

Until it was washed or rubbed off. She swallowed and picked up her glass again, recalling the ink down her back and on her stomach.

And there was one more thing she'd tried, that she hadn't mentioned to Lola and Seth.

"So you basically spend large amounts of time dreaming and thinking about me?" Seth deduced, heading to the lift. "Tsk, what would Ashton say?"

"Yeah right, you wish I thought about you." Lola scoffed, hitching her purse up her shoulder as it slid down.

Jacob finally came into the window, and stood for a moment to catch his breath. He wondered just where Evelyn had disappeared off to. When he heard the water running in the kitchen he walked over to her leaning in the doorway.

"Afternoon Red." He greeted her.

Seth eyed Lola's butt and hit the call button, reaching past her. "Nah, I can sufficiently dream dirty enough for both of us."

Evelyn's hand stilled on the glass and she choked, coughing as she set her glass down a moment. She cleared her throat and looked up to see the Spaniard in the doorway. Fear rippled thorugh her body. She'd figured there was a chance the verses might not work, but they would slow his movements a little, so no more of that superfast crap. Hopefully. She flashed him a slow smile thogh, to hide her nerves. "Hi, Jake. Got in all right?" She leaned back against the counter and took another sip of water.

Lola made gagging sounds . "Ew Andreasis, keep me far away from your dirty fantasies."

Jacob walked over to Evelyn and grabbed her wrist. "You ready to..." Jake froze when he felt a burning in his hand and he winced pulling it back. What the hell? That had never happened when he used to touch her.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth snorted. "Fine, we won't pretend you never flirted with me," he said casually, stepping into the lift with a snicker. "Not that I blame you. I mean, who wouldn't want me?"

Evelyn smiled up at Jake, not moving from her lazy position. "You act like I have herpes." She put her hand back on the counter and set down her glass - and spat a mouthful of water that she'd been reading different prayers over all night onto Jake's chest.

Lola gapped standing there for a moment glaring at Seth! She never flirted with him! "I've never flirted with you!" Lola said moving forward before the elevator left her behind.

Jacob stepped back, it felt like his chest was on fire again. Like it was at the club last weekend. What the hell was she like drinking freaking holy water or something. He clutched his chest trying to dry the water. "What's going...ahh." He groaned.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth grinned wolfishly and hit G. THe lift rattled downwards. "Whateva!"

Evelyn set down her glass and ducked around Jake while he was distracted, darting out of the kitchen. "Whoops, not so clever now, Jake?" she called.

"Don't whateva me. You mutant fairy." Lola replied.

It took a moment for Jacob recover, he grit his teeth chasing after Evelyn. No more fooling around, he was gonna kill her. "You'll see who's laughing when I chop your head off!" Jake called after her.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn had locked the front door.

By the time she unlocked it, he'd catch her. So she turned right and headed for her room, skirting aorund a chair and slamming into her room. She slammed the door behind her right into Jake's face. Autolock clicked in. Then she collapsed onto her bed, feeling her hands shake. Some of the water had spilled out of her glass and one of the scriptures on her wrist was smudged and useless. SO one wrist down.

She looked to her window. He could come in from there if he didn't bust down her door. But she had another surprise waiting. "Bad luck, Sal!" she called, voice quivering slightly.

"You can't talk, your ass looks smaller than Miley Cyrus'," Seth replied.

Lola glowered at Seth, curling her hands into fists. "Why is my ass seem to be on your mind constantly?!" She asked getting annoyed with him. They hadn't even left the dorms yet and she already wanted to kill him.

Jacob tried opening the door but it had locked, he yanked on the door knob and slammed his fist against her door. He knew the only way into her room was through her bedroom window. Which meant he had to go back out her window.

Jake as quickly as he could hopped out the window trying to ignore the pain as he climbed out, he arrived at her window quickly undoing the lock he opened the window. He jumped in past her seal, that was supposed to trap him and instead he stormed right into her room. But he stopped.

Before stepping on the rug, he had a feeling something was there. Something off. He kicked the edge of her rug and from it he saw the seal that was marked on her floor and looked up at Evelyn, smirking. "Well someone's done their homework, but your little seal didn't catch me."

[Tiger-Lily]

Instead of answering, Evelyn simply smiled again. "You're so pathetic," she said. She pointed over his head. "What's that say? Oh, looks like...prison."

Over Jake's head was a tiny seal of Solomon, barely visible because she had drawn it with transparent glitter ink that gleamed only when the light hit it. Evelyn felt her shoulders shake with relief. "Action, counter-action," she said with a sigh, getting up and examining the Seal of Solomon on the ceiling. "They said you might be able to sense it. But I figured, hey, how the hell can I hide it on the ceiling?"

Seth winked as they stepped into the lobby. "Hey, now, give yourself some credit. You're not ugly, Lassie. And I figure it'd equal out your wet dreams."

Lola pulled faces at Seth, too baffled to speak at that comment so she just crossed her arms over her chest and leaned against the elevator wall. The doors opened leading them out to the lobby and she stomped out.

Jacob looked up at the ceiling squinting his eyes, he saw the glittery seal.Barely noticeable of course he wouldn't be able to sense that. He tried moving forward but he couldn't he was stuck there, it wasn't too strong but he knew the more he strained or tried to break free of it, it would weaken him.

"So you've managed to trap me? And what is it you plan to do with me? Stare? Its not that big of a seal like the one on your floor. It shouldn't take me too long to break out of here." Jake informed Evelyn, he didn't want her thinking that she had won.

[Tiger-Lily]

"Of course," Evelyn muttered, checking her wall clock. She flashed Jake a tired smile. "Don't worry, Jake, it'll be all right." She got up and crossed to her laptop, picking it up to read through the incantation needed for the exorcism. Sure, she was aware she couldn't do it, but she might as well prepare herself.

She grinned suddenly and looked up. "You know, Jake, you were never a good Christian."

Seth and Lola finally reached his car, and he figured he could drive it well enough. He could use his left hand's fingers and he needed only his right to drive anyways. "Don't worry, I've got skillz," he reassured Lola, hopping into the GTR.

"You're going to drive with a bum arm? Why don't I just drive, before you kill us! You drive like a crippled even when both of your arms are functioning." Lola stated to Seth standing outside of his car.

Jake smirked looking at Evelyn, knowing the humor in this joke.He knew the minute he read this kid's thoughts the last thing he was, was a good Christian. "I never said I was a saint." He said subtly trying to move out of the trap.

[Tiger-Lily]

"You are not driving my car!" Seth argued, peering out the passenger window. "Hell no! You'd crash it! Trust me, I've never crashed this baby!"

Evelyn tilted her head down at her screen. "SO how about we pass hte time with some Sunday schooling, huh?"

She cracked a smile again. "This is a mix of verses from different places. Let's see if you can identify them."

She figured even if they didn't exorcise, they'd definitely keep Jake in line until Seth and Lola returned. She texted Lola to let her know Jake was here before she began though.

Jake standing in my room. He's trapped though, demon seal. But hurry.

She cleared her throat and began reading out the verses relevant to demon/djinn from the Bible and Quran link she'd found. She didn't know WHICH would affect the demon, not all were affected by the Jesus-cross reference and sometimes not too strongly, so she doubled it.

"Slumber seizes Him not, neither sleep,
To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth.
Who is there that can intercede with His, except by His leave?" She paused.

Smiling at Jake, she went on. "This next is from Psalm 23. just in case you want to look it up later.

Even when I walk through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid,
For you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me."

Lola was gonna argue with Seth but she felt her phone vibrating, she took out her phone reading the text from Evelyn and decided to quit arguing with Seth. "Evelyn just texted me, she has Jake stuck in a seal. You drive, come on we gotta find a pastor." Lola said getting into the passenger seat, buckling up tightly.

Jacob flinched at the words, his head was starting to pound. He tried moving again but the seal just trapped him and he felt a small wave of weakness shoot through him. He suppressed a groan and instead just glared at Evelyn.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn put her laptop on her nightstand and sat down on her bed, llegs stretched out. She felt admittedly better suddenly. The demon wasn't invincible. "Just out of curiosity," she said, lying on her side and adjusting her off the shoulder top. "What exactly did you intend do do?"

Seth and Lola had roared out of the parking lot and down the street toward the nearest pastor.

Jacob tried moving again, and groaned again. He was so stupid for having fallen into this trap. His eyes flicked over to Evelyn laying on her bed, she was cocky now only because she had caught him. Otherwise she would have been dead. "I was coming to kill you, and then Lola after." He said his eyes moving from her's down to her bare shoulders.

"Of course with you, I would have had my way and then slit your throat off your head." Jake said with a smirk.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn stared at him for a moment, trying to ignore that comment, and then said softly, "No, you wouldn't." She lifted the cross necklace she had kept tucked under her shirt. It had rested against her navel. "You really don't want to touch me right now."

"Even if I wanted to, I couldn't. Remember I'm stuck." Jake said pointing up to the seal, he strained trying to break free but instead he felt sort of lightheaded. His body swayed a bit, and he shook his head trying to regain his composure.
