Honestly, Jacob had gone to Brooklyn to escape suspicion and able to roam freely without having his every move traced but if anything all that had seemed to have done was make Seth cling to him even more.

What was it with that blond bastard? Did he not have any other friends? He couldn't buy his own friends? The demon had forced Jake to go back home so that he wasn't being scrutinized for every move he made. But if anything it felt like anywhere that the demon made Jake go, that Seth was showing up just as he was about to do something. Which really had him wondering how Seth just seemed to appear, and know where Jacob was gonna be?

But really at this point he was really tempted to just rip Seth's head off his shoulders the next time he saw him, Jake had kicked open the door to his room dropping his duffel as he walked in, he felt himself cave a bit. Jake grabbed a hold of his dresser to keep himself up, looking to the mirror.

He looked horrible, like he hadn't slept in days. But the demon didn't need sleep, it didn't need food. All it needed was Jacob's body, but even so he could feel it starting to break down from not resting, the bags under his eyes and even the way his clothes seemed a bit looser on him than how he usually wore them.

Jacob flicked exhausted dark eyes up and his voice called weakly inside of him. Please, there is nothing left for you to do. Everyone is suspicious and watching after you. Why won't you just leave?

He snorted and spoke out loud. "I'm not going anywhere, not until I get what I want. Well you know, what you want. But I think I might have to kill that blond friend of yours he's making it so that I can't even move without him seeing me. "

Do that, and they'll have the police on you and lock us up. Then you'll be stuck in a jail cell. Face it, you're starting to draw too much attention to yourself. Jake argued back with him.

"On the contrary. A lot of your so called friends, and even your family just think you're skipping out on your medication cause you're already crazy. As far as it comes to me/ None of them seem too concerned." Jacob smirked moving away from the mirror and silencing Jake's voice again.

Although honestly the demon hadn't done too much. At least not so much since the fire at that one stupid party. And the few fights he had gotten into. So he needed to do some more damage.Because right now he wasn't too satisfied.

And plus that red head had to be returning sometime. Evelyn? She still needed to get her punishment for the pepper spray.

It was the Monday after break and Evelyn was sprawled out on her stomach in her room next to Nova's pet bed, revising for a law final. Nova was snuffling around the kitchen and playing iwht a bouncy ball. She'd noticed him getting antsy so Luke had offered to walk him for her since he was already missing Angeles.

The door's knock alerted her and she sat up, tugging down her boat-neck [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and getting up. She dusted off the seat of her jeans and walked over to grab her leather jacket on her way to the front door. When she reached the handle, though, she hesitated.

Nova's barking was happy as he waddled over. It wasn't Jake.

Stop obsessing. You're a paranoid freak-out away from needing medication!

She pulled open the door and five minutes later, Nova was on his way to the quad with Luke (in a large sports bag yet again).

She walked back to her room after locking the door. She checked her window and realized it was still firmly locked (she was going a bit anal about this). She pulled her earphones back in and continued reviewing her notes.

"THE TWINS ARE HEADED HOME TOMORROW!" Seth warbled down the hall to Jake. He'd just gotten off the phone with Ashton, who said that since he and Tony were both either too lazy to go to class (Tony) or had no class (Ashton) today, they were coming home tomorrow evening instead.

Seth walked into Jake's room uninvited, a big grin on his face that hid the exhaustion behind his sparkling eyes. He was worn out monitoring Jake. And honestly, he'd have loved a few Jake-free days more than anything in the world right now. Jake wasn't much fun to hang with lately. And Seth had alienated quite a few people by brushing them off due to having to watch Jake so often. And he'd seen - and stopped - many questionable things already. His hired PI had mentioned some odd things: aggressiveness in Jake, a tendency to not like girls saying no until someone butted in, and hanging out after midnight on building rooftops.

Creepy.

Why was Jake attempting to hit on other girls, for one thing? Sure, five months ago, Seth would have been happy, but this was odd coming from a Jake who was fully head over heels for the very girl he'd...no, Seth had trouble believing Evelyn. She probably misunderstood...right?

"I have been lonely without them!" Seth announced to Jake, ignoring his tired posture at his dresser.

Jake grit his teeth hearing Seth's voice, and looked to him. "That's cool, man aren't you sick of hanging around me? I need some time alone. You've been like smothering me." Jake said right out to Seth hoping it would get him off his back.

[Tiger-Lily]

"Because you and that damn redhead ruined my break," Seth said instantly, crossing his arms and placing a sullen look on his face. This was true. "If your bitchy ass hadn't insulted her downstairs, we'd have both been out of town! This is your punishment." He strutted out of the room upon noticing Jake's angered eyes and headed for the kitchen, figuring he'd stay out of Jake's arm reach. For some reason, a weird vibe hung around Jake the more Seth saw him, and it was unsettling. Seth pulled a Coke out of the fridge and snapped the tab off, taking a swig.

Jacob clenched his hand on the edges of his dresser, and pushed himself off marching on over to the kitchen where Seth was.
"Oh so what! You didn't have to stay here and babysit me! I can handle it myself. I went to Brooklyn cause I needed to get away from here! I see you every day, if you wanted to go somewhere or hang with someone else you didn't have to attach yourself to me like some god damned parasite!" Jake snapped at Seth.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth snorted at him over the rim of his can, wondering if Jake had skipped his meds. "Did you forget your meds again? Or is this some frustration out of Red ignoring you?" he asked bluntly, steeping around the Spaniard and heading for the living room.

A silver blur darted past him and Lucifer hissed at Jake as the cat placed itself between the two boys. Seth shot it an amused glance. Lucifer's fur was poofed up and his eyes were narrowed in anger.

"Its none of your business okay? I can do what I want and I don't need you to be around me twenty four seven acting like you're my dad or something. Just leave me alone, I've gotten pretty sick of seeing your face these last few days." Jacob said turning to walk back to his room shooting Lucifer a dirty glare on his way back.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth rolled his eyes, puling a face behind Jake's back. "Thank God," he muttered, pulling out his buzzing phone. "I've gotten pretty sick of seeing his lying face too," he said to Lucifer. "C'mon, let's get out of here. e's killing my buzz."

He reached over and scooped up the cat, before turning to head out of the suite. He figured he could give Jake a moment, since honestly, Seth's even temper was starting to get grated pretty swiftly after a week.

He headed out of the building to get a coffee, Lucifer huffing in his arms.

Jake huffed as he watched Seth leave with his stupid feline.

Finally, it felt like he could breathe. He felt like he was trapped since Seth had him under watch and he hadn't really been able to do anything except a few times before Seth began hovering around him.

Not really wanting to be around when Seth returned, Jake went to his window and climbed out deciding to get a walk in and maybe do somethings before he was under constant surveillance again. As Jacob landed on the ground again he shoved his hands into his pocket and heard a familiar yipping that he recognized as Nova.

A slow smile crept on his face as he saw the dog being walked by the tall blond.

Lola crossed her [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] clad foot, wondering why Seth had texted her to come over, he had only said to her that it was something urgent about Jacob, and of course now she was worried about what he had been up to.

Especially since he hadn't once even talked to her over the break, "Okay Seth what's going on, what did you need to tell me?" She asked because really she never really enjoyed being too close to Seth, without a weapon of some sorts.

Jake had entered the lobby slowly, and decided in taking the stairs instead of the elevator. He did not feel like being caught in there with Luke and Evelyn because he knew that they weren't too far behind. So he began walking slowly up the stairs.

Nursing his shoulder with one hand, everything just seemed to hurt he needed to fix himself up before Seth saw or anyone else and put him back under lock down.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth was sitting on his bed while Lola had his desk chair (a safe distance away, although really, the last thing on his mind was sex).

He was flicking through his laptop as she spoke to him. He glanced up, blue eyes distant. "Huh? Oh, right..."

He hesitated. Over break, he'd debated telling her what he'd been doing, but somehow, he refused to fully believe Evelyn's tale.

Sure, Jake could get pushy. But the girl was a fucking prude! No pun intended. She could have freaked and overreacted when Jake made a move on her or got passive aggressive.

Seth refused to believe his buddy was capable of...no, not Jake. And never towards Evelyn!

But something bad had happened between the two. Seth knew this because the one time he'd seen Evelyn pass Jake in the hall, she'd almost squished herself in the wall to avoid him. And a flash of fear had flitted over her suddenly-pale face.

Seth somehow didn't want to ask her to clarify. It couldn't be like what she'd said! It just couldn't.

But Jake was acting a little odd. So Seth filled Lola in on what he'd been doing that break, starting with telling her that Evelyn claimed Jake was getting a little too aggressive in the angry-sense, not the sexual one. He didn't want to tell Lola that aspect of Jake when it might not be true. That would probably make her throw up and Seth hated puke.

Seth told her that Evelyn asked him to keep an eye on Jake because the Spaniard seemed more prone to pick fights and hit things. It was kind of a lie but whatever. So Seth clarified specifically that Jake had been aggressively annoying people in Brooklyn - and maybe hitting on a few girls.

"It's kind of weird, though, given how hung up he was on Red," Seth finished. "Like, I mean, I'm happy he's over her, you know? But it's too fast. And he just...gives off these weird bully vibes. I mean, I'm not a nice guy, but I'd not do half this shit he's been doing. And who the fuck sits on a roof all night and acts like a circus freak? Even Jake never used to!"

When Evelyn stepped out onto the fifth floor, she had Nova walk in front of her, saucepan clenched in her fist as she started down the hallway to her suite. She didn't see the Spaniard yet, so hopefully he'd gone home...

Lola raised an eyebrow at Seth, although in all honesty. This Jake, the one hitting on girls and him being a bit overly aggressive just sounded like he was skipping his medication.

The roof thing was also really strange, but Jacob was never really too normal to begin with.

Lola shrugged. "I mean honestly Seth, it just sounds like he's been skipping his medication."

After four flights of stairs, Jake had finally made it to the fifth and sort of hobbled out into the hallway, towards his suite.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth bit his upper lip in thought. "Okay, um...thing is, Jake's skipped his meds a lot, but he's never really gotten, um...a little edgy. Like when he hit on a few girls in Brooklyn, when they seemed like they wanted out, he didn't act like he agreed with them. And...I had to step in." Seth hated saying this, and he was definitely keeping the Evelyn situation under wraps.

Evelyn was reaching for her keys in her pocket when Nova stiffened and looked around. She glanced up in alarm and tensed when she spotted a tall figure at the end of the hallway.

Oh no...oh no...

Goosebumps bubbled up her arms and she broke into a quick walk that was almost a run.

She shoved at her door and was relieved she hadn't locked it. She burst in and dragged Nova in, locking her door quickly as her heart pounded.

Jacob had heard a door closing and looked to see who's, but by the time he had he couldn't tell where the sound had come from.

Finally after a few moments he had made it to his suite, quietly opening the door and walking in. Just so he would remain unheard if Seth had returned.

Jake heard Seth's voice, and he heard him mention Jacob's name which made him curious.

Jacob closed the door behind him, walking as silently as possible, and standing outside of Seth's door.

From within he heard Lola's voice.

"Seth..." Was all she said. Lola looked up at Seth in disbelief, in all her years knowing Jacob had she ever seen him force himself on a girl unless she wanted to.

"Seth I just, Jacob would never do that to a girl. Maybe he was just drunk or something." Lola said in weak defense, although this sounded pretty bad.

[Tiger-Lily]

"I don't know!" Seth exclaimed, aggrieved. He ran a hand through his hair. It rumpled and he patted it down. "Look - it's just weird, is all. I figured I'd let you puzzle it out 'cause I got nothing! Is it really his meds? He wasn't drunk to my knowledge when he did all that."

Lucifer meowed by Jake's feet.

Lola bit her nail anxiously getting up out of her seat. "Oh I don't know Seth. I mean it sounds like Jake but at the same time it doesn't you know? But maybe when he gets back I can sit down and talk with him?" Lola offered, she really didn't know what else she could do.

"Yeah maybe you both can talk to me, instead of behind my back." Jake said coldly, stepping around Lucifer to stand in Seth's doorway.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth cursed, wishing he'd closed his door (but he doubted Lola would willingly enter his room if he had). He straightened up in his lazy slouch over his laptop. And then frowned.

"What happened to your shoulder...is it bleeding?" he asked bluntly, ignoring Jake's words completely.

Jacob ignored Seth's question, he had overheard Lola talking to Seth he heard them both. So what was Evelyn now blabbing about what he had been doing? Is this why Seth was keeping him under such close watch, and now he was getting Lola involved?

Lola got up from the chair, her eyes on Jake's bleeding shoulder. She looked him over he kind of looked wrecked. Like he hadn't been sleeping, and now he looked like some wild animal had attacked him. She approached him carefully because honestly the vibe he gave off right now was kind of frightening. "Jake... are you okay? I mean have you been okay lately?"

"I'm fine." He replied shortly.

"Jake you're bleeding, what happened? Where did you go? Did someone do this to you?" Lola asked touching his shoulder lightly.

Jacob stepped back away from Lola. "Don't touch me, and seriously. You're acting like my mother its no big deal, just a little blood." He said coldly.

Lola drew her hand back away from him and narrowed her eyes up at him. She remembered when he kind of went through his little rebellious streak a year or two ago. "Listen Jake, I'm just worried. You're my friend, and I just wanna make sure you're okay." She said approaching him again. Even though everything was kind of telling her that was a bad idea.

What was it with everyone always testing his patience? First Evelyn, then Seth, now Lola? Why did Seth even have to go and open his big mouth? Although Seth wouldn't have been on his case like this if Evelyn probably hadn't told him.

Jake could feel Lola drawing closer towards him and he pushed her away lightly. Hoping she'd get the hint that he didn't want her near him. "Lola seriously--"

"Jake you're being an idiot I just wanna help--" Lola was trying to say before Jake cut her off.

"I'm serious, Lola back off!" Jake yelled shoving her harder this time, so she stepped back a bit.

Lola stumbled some and looked up at Jake, glaring at him. She hated when he was like this but she wasn't gonna let him push her around just because he was skipping his medication. She marched right up to him and shoved him back.

Jacob clenched his jaw and shoved Lola back, and she returned it back. He grabbed her shoulders, and she matched his move, gripping tightly. "Let me go." He warned her. Why did this kid feel the need to surround himself with so many unruly females?

Lola glared at Jake, she wasn't gonna back down. Jake was being an idiot and okay she was probably kind of scared too but like hell she was gonna let him know that. "Jake I'm not letting you go until you tell me--"

"Let go!" Jacob snapped shoving Lola back with all of his force knocking her down to the ground. Lola yelped falling down on the ground, she winced getting up, her eyes gleaming up at Jake. Sure they had fought before but never had he gotten this rough with her.

Lola grit her teeth getting up slowly, her side ached from when she fell and she brought her hand up and smacked him hard across the face, the smack echoing his cheek red from Lola's hand.

Jacob had had enough with everyone hitting him so he retaliated and back handed Lola across the face. Her head snapping forcefully to the side. Lola gasped clutching the side of her face, she flicked frightened brown eyes up at Jake. She couldn't believe that he had just hit her with that much force. Her cheek burned and her left eye felt like it was pounding.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth hadn't really been ready for this. He'd seen Lola and Jake wrestle so many times, he really had kind of tuned out a bit, figuring Jake was back to being his bitchy tortured-Romeo self.

But he looked up when he heard Lola's cry - and spotted her smack Jake hard. Ouch.

And then Jake hit her back - really hard. Seth took this as his cue and dove off his bed, slamming into Jake and carrying them both backwards away from Lola into the wall with a hard thud. "What the fuck, bro?" Seth snapped. He glanced down at Lola, one hand on Jake's chest. "You all right, Lassie?"

Jake shoved Seth. "She was pissing me off, let me go." He said, he wasn't gonna let them push him around he was sick of them.

Lola pressed her hand lightly to her face, it was gonna bruise and right under her eye too. She flicked her eyes up, tears were threatening to spill over them. She saw Seth holding Jake back and she went to go tug Seth's arm. "Seth let him go... please it was my fault."

She shouldn't have hit him she knew not to fight with him when he was off his medication.

[Tiger-Lily]

"Is that why Red just hit you with a saucepan?" Seth asked him, not moving his hand off Jake's shirtfront. He'd been checking his FB while Lola fussed over Jake, mostly out of habit. "Because you tried to push her around again?" Seth stepped back and moved sideways so Lola was hidden from the Spaniard's view. "Or let me guess, she turned you down again? You don't like that, do you?"

He suddenly remembered Lola would have no idea what he was talking about since he'd edited Evelyn's tale out of his explanation. But he needed to call Jake out on this, mostly to figure out what the fuck was going on.

Jacob glowered at Seth, now he knew that Evelyn had told him because he wouldn't just dangle this in front of him like that.

Lola peered around Seth, she could see the enraged look in his eye and finally he shoved Seth back off of him. "Fuck you Seth."

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth stumbled and shoved Jake back, finally starting to get fed up of having to babysit him all the fucking time! "At least I have game!"

Evelyn was now fed up of the Black Eyed Peas' tour itinerary. She decided to google up some more info on this demon shit, which honestly sounded like a bad tween novel.

But whatever. If it helped...

Honestly though, Jake seemed like he really was displaying symptoms of...a demon possession. Half of them at least. The black eyes was something serious.
