Luke had thrown his guitar into its carry case as soon as he was done so he was ahead of the rush of students exiting. He slung his guitar case's strap over his head and across his shoulders as he walked. As he neared the exit he glanced up instinctively at the people nearby - and stiffened. Alexis' gray-blue eyes were on him.

Ah shit, how did i forget she was in here? Admittedly, her attendance had been lax. Luke glanced away, stuffed his free hand into his pocket and was two steps ahead of her out into the hallway. He swallowed, feeling a bit suffocated all of a sudden, and threw a furtive glance over his shoulder as he headed down the hall.

Alexis threw a glare back at him as she caught his gaze, just two people behind him as she headed down the hall. She moved her guitar into it's case before putting it around her shoulders and slid it around to rest on her back while looking at Luke.

She thought about on all he said, and the one thing she wanted to do was either make him hurt or squirm. And yet- in some stupid soft part of her, she just wanted him to be her buddy again. She clenched her jaw.

Luke felt his insides flinch automatically as he turned away. People didn't often throw him such hateful looks.

I'm supposed to be the nice guy, he mused grimly, not watching ot see which direction she'd gone in. Where did he go? It feels like I lost him somewhere this weekend.

He didn't really like this side of himself. It came across cold and left a bitter taste in his mouth every time he said something. It wasn't even obvious. he doubted anyone but Alexis had noticed. James certainly hadn't. In fact, James was thrilled Luke was willing to go out and have fun on his own. And Luke liked that he wasn't so much of a "pushover", James' words, but he kind of disliked himself for his curt manner.

What was he supposed to do though? Alexis clearly didn't seem to realize she'd done anything wrong. She was going to play the victim and while he hated what had happened to her, he didn't think his mood was completely forgiving. And he didn't consider her much more than an acquaintance-friend. So there was that...

Luke stumbled into someone on his out of the building. He glanced up and frowned. "Lola?" It figured. She mentioned majoring in theater arts and he was in the Fine Arts building. He glanced behind him. Alexis was about five feet down the hall.

Alexis pursed her lips a little and she moved to sit on a bench as her phone viberated in her pocket. She put her guitar down on the ground by her and put her purse by her feet before getting her phone.

I already know that, dunce. She sent Connor back as she glanced up to see someone slid in the seat by her. She frowned, noting he looked slightly familiar.

"Hi- Alexis right?" Trevor said, frowning at her look as she bit at her lip ring. He didn't remember that last he saw her.

"... Yes. What do you want?" Alexis asked cautiously, eying him closely as she reached for the mace in her bag, just to hold it in case.

"I was wondering if you knew why Evelyn had never replied to my friend invite on facebook." Trevor asked, raising his eyebrows at her.

Alexis rolled her eyes slightly but glanced at Luke and Lola and licked her lips.

Lola stumbled a bit, she nearly turned around to tell the idiot behind her to learn to walk when she looked up and saw Luke towering over her.

"Oh hey there stretch, what's up?" She asked.

Stretch? Luke lifted a dark-blond eyebrow but let it go. "Grabbing a bite. I just fiinished class, three hours of damn torture." He emphasized this last part.

"My class wasn't too bad, it was just too early, I worked all day yesterday plus went to some party after so I got in late." Lola added with a yawn.

Alexis ignored poor Trevor's socially awkward presence as she grabbed her bag and guitar sliding it back on before going over to Lola and Lucas. "Hey Lola... Lucas."

[Tiger-Lily]

Luke started and then inhaled sharply as he gave Alexis a noncommittal nod. What the hell is she doing?

Lola looked up at the raven haired girl and smiled, "Hey Alexis, not much just got out of my music class. Didn't know you were in one too?"

"Yeah, that's what I'm here for." Alexis gave a brief smile to her, nodding her head to the side a little to indicate her guitar. "Anyway, how are you?"She asked, giving a side ways glance to Luke before looking back at Lola.

[Tiger-Lily]

Luke crossed his arms and leaned back against the side of the building as other students poured out of it. He fiddled in his bag for his sunglasses and put them on to cut out the glaring sunlight.

"Good, I'm actually kind of hungry and Luke mentioned he was too I was about to ask if you guys maybe wanted to go to the SC and grab a bite, that is if neither of you have a class right now?" She asked looking from Alexis and then to Luke.

"...Uhm." Alexis blurted out, glancing between Luke and Lola. She fiddled with her lip ring as she glanced back at Lola. A-la, CRAP.

[Tiger-Lily]

Luke cleared his throat. "Uh..."

Ah shit.... He couldn't just lie flat out. And honestly, he wasn't scared of Alexis or anything...just completely unnerved.

"Sure," he said, as nonchalantly as possible. "Let's go."

[Guest]

"Okay come on." She said leading the way although she couldn't help but feel some tension between them.

[[Lola, Alexis, and Luke-Ass to the Student Center ]]

[[James and Alexis from Student Center]]

Alexis ran her fingers through her hair, her eyes a little heavier from crying earlier. She looked around as she walked with James and Frankie, before watching as Frankie sniffed around, wagging his stubby little hair and barked loudly, seeing a poodle in the distance.

[[Jake and The Siren from Dorms]]

Jake shrugged, "Cause I figured your life sucks enough as it is, and well... you're making me feel bad which is pretty diffcult to accomplish since I have no soul." He smirked.

James walked in step with Alexis, around campus, Frankie trotting along occasionally sniffing at something or someones foot, they rounded the corner.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn grinned at this and would have agreed under normal circumstances. She reached over and took Jake's arm, patting it with her other hand. "Count your lucky stars I'm feeling down right now. I have a really nice comeback on the tip of my tongue."

Alexis bit at her upper lip, still watching James as they rounded the corner. "... Do you regret coming here?" Alexis asked suddenly, curious.

"Oooh I'm so scared chicka!" Jake said sticking his tongue out at her and ruffling her bronze hair.

James looked down at Alexis and thought about that for a moment, did he regret coming to New York? The only positive thing so far was that he was offered a scholarship because of basketball, other than that he hadn't really enjoyed himself too much since he had been in the city. Which he thought he would since he assumed he would be some place where he didn't run into every person he's met in his life.

Breaking from his reverie James answered, "The only thing I regret is uttering a word to Evelyn that day I saw her in the hallway. Coming here, no. This is a big city and I've always wanted to come back to a city ever since my family moved from Chicago, just cause she's here, doesn't mean I'm not going to enjoy it."

His blue eyes focused on her gray ones and he asked her the same thing, "Why do you regret it?"

"... I don't know if I really regret it entirely. I mean- I caused chaos in FAO Schwarz, and I got to meet my so-called friends again but... honestly? The only good thing about this place, is that it IS New York City. That's all." Alexis said, nodding a little before biting down on her bottom lip again, glancing as Frankie stopped at a pole to empty his bladder.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn was quickly learning she should never keep her hair tied up. It had gotten mussed but she'd taken the ponytail lower. She reached up with the hand not hooked around Jake's arm and tugged her hair free to allow it to blow itself straight in the light breeze. "Turd," she said to Jake nicely. She shook her head and pulled the scrunchie over her wrist as they walked. "Can I keep Nova with me when we get him? I kind of need, um..." She paused, smile fading just a little. "He's comfortable."

James snickered, "I wondered what all those weird statuses were about you guys at FAO Schwarz, I guess it all makes sense now. Yeah the most interesting thing that happened to me was figuring out our neighbor having a skunk... and a hunting gun."

Jake nodded, knowing where she came from. Before his old dog had died he had always enjoyed his company when he was feeling down, "That's fine by me. Just don't try to kidnap him over the border or something."

"... What?" Alexis laughed just a little, not sure if James was being serious or what. "A neighbor with a skunk and a hunting gun? Where the hell do you live again?" She grinned at him.
