"I'm good. Kind of bruised," Evelyn admitted, realizing for the first time that it wasn't sleepiness that made her so tired but all the beating her body had taken being tossed around. "We were flying around like popcorn in that damn elevator. It kept dropping and rising and well, yeah....not the best memory." She shuddered and wrapped her arms around Nova tighter.

Nova began barking insistently, turning his head and wriggling to get free. He was pointing his muzzle toward a nearby shrubbery. Evelyn swallowed because she knew why.

"So, let's, uh, get coffee or something?" she said. "You know, the nearby Starbucks we went to last time," she suggested, thinking they should probably stay away from campus just in case they saw Jake again and Ashlee got a chance to examine him close-up. He'd said he wasn't going to work, so Starbucks was safe.

Ashlee watched Nova squirming around in Evelyn's arm and noticed that he was trying to get to the bushes, and she raised an eyebrow, "Yeah we can go to Starbucks, but does Nova need to go to the bathroom or something? Let him go by the bushes, so he doesn't go on you."

Jake sat in the bushes, and was busy trying not to scratch his arm and neck all while he Googled what poison ivy leaves looked like. Damn that Evelyn, ever since she came into his life, he's made friends with just about everyone at the walk in clinic.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn bit her lip and then said, "No, he left a bone or something there, he'll be fine." She started to walk a bit. "C'mon. I'm aching all over. Need to relax with some good java."

Nova began barking furiously now and Evelyn wished she had a dog treat. He must have wanted to go back and continue playing with/biting Jake. She stroked the pup's head and attempted to distracted him. "Hush, Nova, c'mon, I'll buy you a squeaky toy."

Ashlee eyed the bush for a little longer,little did she know that Jake was watching her, watching the bush and he was mentally willing her to turn and leave with Evelyn so she would catch him there, as he scratched.

God damn it what kind of bush was he sitting in?!

Ashlee turned her attention back to Evelyn, and shook her head she was probably just being paranoid. Maybe Jake hadn't been there at all, and she was just freaking out for no reason, "Yeah sure, its kind of cold and I could go for some coffee lets go." Ashlee chirped.

Jake watched Ashlee and Evelyn leaving, and while his phone was taking forever to let him know if he was dying or not, he decided to go on Facebook, where once again Evelyn had decided to remove him from her friends list. Annoyed with this constant battle she seemed to have going on with her "remove from friends list button." Jake took it upon himself to verbally... well in this case complain via text to her.

You call me bi polar? Miss I-Delete-Jake-Every time-He-Breathes-Incorrectly. Where do you get off? Either add or delete me. Actually add me so I can spam your wall with my proclamations of love to you. Actually more like lust but same difference ;D

Jake grinned and sent the message, to her Facebook all while itching away at his newly arrived hives.

"Oh, and hey, this is the Starbucks we went to before, filled with the hot guys. Remember Danny and Eric?" Evelyn encouraged her, trying to hold onto Nova.

"Ooooh yeah! Of course I remember but I kind of hope Danny isn't working I straight up ditched him at that party that he took me as his date for. I mean don't get me wrong I don't mind a kid who gets all happy, but he was a whole other level of cocaine." Ashlee cringed remembering Danny's enthusiastic personality.

Nova had now calmed down and Evelyn shifted him to one arm when her phone buzzed. She pulled it out of her bag and examined the FB message notification.

her eyebrows rose of their own accord and she glanced up at Ashlee, saying, "Eric's a hottie, though. And he knows us." She nudged Ashlee, winking, as her fingers flew over the touchkeys.

Dear "Daniel", she typed,

I will only stop abusing the Delete-as-Friend button when you stop the whiny preteen girl routine and quit making my life a dystopia. For now, I shall Add you. ^__^

At that moment, Nova bit her thumb and she started. he dropped down to the ground, landing unhurt on his feet and darted over to the bush. Evelyn's jaw dropped.

"Nova, venir! Oh crap!" she wailed. Nova ignored her because he was now barking too loudly for her to be heard. He rounded the corner of the bush and tackled Jake, drooling over his face.

Jacob read Evelyn's message and was silently laughing to himself in the bush, but it wasn't too long until he was tackled by a tiny brown and white little monster, "Omf! Nova no!" Jake fell and flailed about the bush like a hassled raccoon.

Knowing that he had probably gotten loose from Evelyn, and the dog picked up on Jake's scent, which any other time would have been fine without Ashlee near by!

Ashlee watched the puppy bound off, back to where the bush was and she looked at Evelyn, "Damn he must really want that bone, or there's probably some sort of creepy animal in there like a raccoon or something that he spotted. We should go get him though, him being loose like that will probably get you in trouble."

[Tiger-Lily]

"Oh, uh..." Evelyn paused and called to Nova again. "Venir, Nova. Come here, boy!" She exhaled because he was now barking happily at something - someone, rather.

She bit her lip. "I'll get him." She dropped her bag and walked over to the bush, ignoring her vibrating phone as she stuffed it into a pocket in her track pants.

"Jake?" she hissed, leaning around the bush (and keeping away from touching it because she had read Jake's status). "What're you still doing here?!"

[Guest]

"Um okay that's fine, I'll wait here then." Ashlee said letting Evelyn go off on her own to get Nova back.

Jake had been scratching his head, Nova following suit since the small dog had decided to join in on him in the bushes, "Oh you know, I heard poison ivy is excellent for clearing up headaches and such... so I figured I'd roll around in it. Ummm get rid of Nova though before Ash comes over here!"

He tried replying to Seth's chat, and other things on his Facebook all while Nova, licked at him and pawed at him. Jake had finally managed to get Nova off of him, and was able to send the wall post he was working on for Evelyn's wall.

"You're an idiot," Evelyn told him and picked Nova up carefully, trying not to touch Jake in case his ivy attack got her too. "Get something on that before it gets worse, Sal," she said, straightening. "Trust me when I say you won't look pretty with it."

"Yeah yeah I will is the cost clear... wait a second!" Jake stopped in the middle of his sentence and looked up at Evelyn and sniffled over dramatically, "Did you just call me beautiful?"

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn resisted an urge to punch him. "This really isn't the time!" she replied shortly, turning to go. "Just...just get out of here before I have to explain my horrible taste in men to her."

Jake stood up and "hmmphed" dusting himself off, "Well easy come, easy go. Catch ya later Red. Gotta go dip myself in some cortisone." He scratched himself, getting up and figuring he couldn't touch her because if he spread his itchiness she'd probably castrate him.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn would have replied but then she remembered Ashlee waiting for her. Next time then. She cracked a grin at Jake's discomfort and would have hugged him but she didn't dare go near him right now. "Have fun scrubbing your skin off," she said sweetly, and walked back to Ashlee, Nova lolling happily in her arms now that he had attacked Jake.

"Sorry about that. He was attacking a hobo," she said smoothly, walking toward the street where the Starbucks was.

Seth was walking and trying to Facebook at the same time.. He juggled his coffee and his backpack irritably and then simply texted Jake since the douche had gone offline again. Im bored. :/ What u doin?

Ashlee laughed, "Aww that sounds cute, poor hobo though I suppose. Its weird though that a hobo would just be chillin around school, then again this is New York.

Jake had made a face at Evelyn behind her back as she turned to leave, he felt his phone vibrate, and he took it out and typed one handed to Seth, I'm itchy, going to get cortisone for my poison ivy x___x where r u?

Evelyn nodded as they reached the street and she let Nova down, grabbing his leash. "Hey, I'm getting used to weirder shit happening."

She decided not ot bother taking the subway since the Starbucks was within walking distance anyways.

In front of dorm. U? Seth replied, taking a seat near the front doors of their building. he set his bag beside him on the bench and finished his coffee.

Jake felt like he had damned fleas chewing on his skin, he scratched as hard as he could to relieve himself but it just bothered him even more, although he knew he shouldn't since it would probably leave a scar, Ittttchyyyyyy D:! Wanna come to the store w/ me?

Seth snickered and looked around, trying to spot his unfortunate roommate. He texted back: 7-11? Sure. But Im not alowed in. XD

Jake was scanning campus for a bright blond head, and he replied, Im almost near the dorms, and we'll go some place else. Like CVS or somethin so you can at least come in there and get kicked out with me ! It wont be that hard to find me tho right now just open your eyes, I look like I have ticks.

And just like that Jake started to itch all over again, and he was scratching himself, and a few people were even backing away from him, afraid to catch whatever disease he was haboring.

Seth lifted his heead curiously, peering around as he got up and grabbed his bag, tossing his empty cup away. He walked a little before he caught sight of a very peculiar-looking Jake.

Seth wondered why Jake was impersonating a headless chicken. "Yo," he called, walking over while everyone else in a five meter radius backed away, "What's with the chicken dance? Is there some new deity I haven't heard about?"

Jake was tempted to go up to a tree and rub up and down like a bear trying to scratch its own back, but he figured doing the epilepsy induced chicken dance was freaking out normal people enough, he opened a brown eye and looked down at Seth, trying to scratch his back, "Hey bro... ughh! I hate this, I got poison ivy from that damn bush I fell in. Also yeah its a new dance for you, you don't like it?"

[Tiger-Lily]

"I love that it's scaring people. I hate that it's scaring chicks," Seth complained, starting to walk toward the street. "C'mon, let's get you fixed up. How the fuck did you fall into a bush again?"

Jake was still scratching and he just gave a story that sounded normal and typical enough to happen to him anyway, (minus the Evelyn), "So after being stuck in an elevator for two hours I wanted to like walk around for a little and stretch my legs, since I used this as an opportunity to skip work." Jake grinned, then went on to scratch his neck, "Anyway, I was texting my mom cause she was freaking out about me being stuck in an elevator and I rounded the corner, and I kind of tripped doing that and fell into the bush, and my phone fell out of my hand and I had to get it and yeah viola." Jake said, trying to keep from clawing his own skin off.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth sniggered. That did sound very Jake. "Oh, how was the elevator experience? I noticed you and Red all friendly on Facebook again?" he asked curiously. "Did you guys end it mutually then?"
