Jake, Connor, and Seth came up from the subway, Jake didn't mind the rain, but he wondered if they were going to a studio to record wouldn't someone kick them out for looking like drowned rats?

Not that he cared, they were doing this for fun anyway, Jake turned to Seth, "Okay dude I have no clue where there would be studios, do you?"

Connor shivered slightly, soaking wet already as he looked around, half listening to the guys, half not.

Seth paused under a bus shelter and pulled out his phone to check his GPS. "Hm...there's one just near Times. We can walk there."

He led the boys to the studio, in a nondescript building. They entered and Seth unzipped his wet hoodie. He flashed a smile at the lady behind the reception desk in the lobby. "Hey, we're looking for an available studio."

She looked over his cohorts and doubt flickered over her face. "Really now?"

Seth groaned. Of course, they were teenage boys, which equaled delinquents.

Not that he and Jake weren't but...that was beside the point. They should have dressed more maturely, he figured, or gotten one of the girls to do this for them. "Yeah, really," he said, slightly snappily. "We need one for as long as you can give it to us."

"And you'll be paying...?"

Seth pulled out his wallet and almost threw his black AmEx at her face. Frigid bitch.

She looked suspiciously at it and then at him. "You're Seth Andr-"

"No, that's my stepdad's card," Seth exploded before he could stop himself. "Which I took after I beat the shit outta him with a car tire. He was fucking my mom's sister, Agatha Christie."

The woman stared at them.

And then hit a button on her desk. "Security!"

"...We're going to get no where with this, if you continue." Connor said, his lips twitching with laughter before he quickly made for the exit.

Jacob snickered exiting the building and as they came outside he smacked Seth across the head, "Oy be civil. They already don't take us seriously because we look like hood rats. Actually we should go pay some gangsters and show up with a posse maybe then they'll give us a studio." Jake snorted.

[Tiger-Lily]

Set threw up his hands as the rain hit them again. He pulled his hood up. "God dammit, I knew we shoulda gotten one of the girls with us. Then we'd look like one of those legit bands, you know, with a girl lead singer."

He started walking to a bus shelter to take out his phone again.

"Um the girls hate us, who would have agreed to go with us? Alexis hates you, Red hates me and Connor, Lola dislikes you, and the only girl that leaves us with is Ashlee and Evelyn wouldn't let her hang out with us alone." Jake went off the list in his head, making sure he had gotten everyone.

"Unless you're willing to go into drag Seth." Jake smirked.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth reached over and shoved Jake into the wall beside the Spaniard as they walked. "Alexis doesn't HATE me. I'm sure we coulda gotten her. OR Red would have...if YOU hadn't fucked it up."

"Details, all minor details!" Jake said stumbling slightly then reaching over and flicking Seth in the head, "Well we are without females so think of something else!"

[Tiger-Lily]

"You think!" Seth exclaimed. "Why do people ask me for ideas and then blame me when they go bust?"

"...I'm going drag for halloween." Connor decided to speak up, trying to lighten the moment.

Jake was rendered speechless before he even got to retort to Seth... instead his eyes flew onto Connor and he just gave him a "what the fuck" look, then narrowed his eyes and shook his head. "Why.... you know what...you go Connor do your ... thing."

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth was thinking something along similar lines. What the shit? He reached over and patted Connor, who was on his other side. "True colors, guy."

"Not really, but your faces were priceless." Connor grinned at them and walked ahead of them instead before they could retort back with more "true colors, you are gay" shit.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth pulled a face after him. "Bitch." He followed Connor to the bus stop nearby adn pulled out his phone. "Okay, we're near another."

He headed out into the rain again, leading them to the building. NY was cold and rather deserted right now. No sane being was out here unless they had to be. "There we are. Someone else deal with it."

Jake nudged Connor, "How about it Gaga, wanna test out your luck?"

"Uh- no, you go for it Pittbull." Connor said, making a face. Lawyer wanna be or not, he still got annoyed to quickly with chicks behind counters.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth waited with the door held open. "Oy, Gaga, Pitbull, let's move it already! I'm getting cold. Jake, you go. Work the Spanish. Connor will just creep her out unless she's a slut." He nodded at the girl behind the reception desk.

Jake pulled a face at Connor and straightened himself, taking a deep breath he ran a hand through his soaking hair and walked up to the desk where the receptionist was typing away on her computer, Jake took a deep breath and smiled at her, "Buenas dias chicka my friends and I we wanted to know if you had an studios available for us to record our single in, because, la canción que hagamos será para ti hermosa. " Jake said smoothly to her, adding his accent hoping that this would work.

His luck with this had been real bad as of recently.

"..WHAT did you just call me?" The woman snapped, popping her gum as she looked away from the computer screen to Jake, blue eyes narrowing.

"Uh oh.." Connor cringed, watching this start to go down.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth threw up his hands and quickly intervened. "Never mind." He edged backward toward Connor. "You wanna try her?" he muttered. "She's already pissed but it'd beat walking around in the rain again."

Connor shook his head. "Uh- man.. she looks like she's gonna pounce over and claw his eyes out with those ghetto nails."

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth was positive Connor hadn't said this low enough. The woman was now glowering openly at them. Seth shoved his cohorts out the door before any more smart comments were thrown at her.

"Don't call us, we'll call you!" he said to her, shutting the door behind them. THe rain had let up just slightly now. Seth sighed. "I'm not up for more discouragement. So the band will just have to take birth elsewhere. To headquarters!"

He led the way down the rain-washed street to the subway entrance.

Alexis followed slightly behind Seth as she messed with her phone, trying to figure out why it was messing up and giving her alerts for non-existent messages. She made a face and shoved it back in her pocket. "Where are we going?"

Seth looked around the street. "Errrmmmmm........" He pursed his lips, thinking. "Hot dog?"
