Evelyn pulled a face at Jake for his comment.

As they sped along, Carrie felt the need to clarify a few house rules. "So, uh, Jake?" she began calmly, "What exactly are your intentions?"

Evelyn's eyes widened. Intentions...oh my God.

Jake raised an eyebrow glancing at Carrie through the rear view mirror. "Intentions? What are you talking about?"

[Tiger-Lily]

"Intentions toward Lyn," Carrie stated in her usual, blunt way. "I mean, knowing you two and all, I feel like I should mention, we're sharing one room. So any copulating will have to happen elsewh - "

"Carrie!" Evelyn hissed, sliding down in her seat as her face burned red.

Jake tried really hard to stop from laughing but he couldn't help it. Even though it was really awkward what Carrie had just said it was still funny. "I doubt that will happen." Jake said laughing as he shot a glance at a disgruntled Evelyn.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn blushed harder at this, not looking at Jake, but instead glaring out her window.

Carrie poked the back of Jake's head. "You're laughing now," she accused him. "But I mean it, footsie under the table is cool, but I don't wanna come home and find you two groping each oth - "

"Carrie, I think Nova's about to fall," Evelyn interrupted rudely, curling her lip.

Carrie resettled the puppy on her lap. "Just keep your clothes on, is all I'm saying," she said to Jake. Evelyn was now sunk into her seat so much, her head was level with the dashboard.

"Carrie don't worry I'll be all the way in Brooklyn, also. I promise if I do promise to get it in it will be during daylight hours when you're not around." Jake snorted, turning on the corner.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn's jaw dropped and she threw Jake a wide-eyed look. "Excuse me?! I'm right here!" Her voice came out shrill.

Carrie narrowed her eyes. "Oh, haha. I hope your mom doesn't mind grandchildren as much as she minded a daughter-in-law."

"Oh my..." Evelyn trailed off.

"Oh god don't say stuff like that! My mom would legit crucify me!" Jake cringed, just thinking about his mom's reaction to him being a dad was deadly.

[Tiger-Lily]

"Then you'll remember that and keep your horny paws off Lyn, huh?" Carrie asked smugly. Evelyn reddened all over again.

"Why - what did I do to deserve this?" she wondered aloud.

[Guest]

"Well I mean... I'd be safe." Jake muttered to himself deciding it was best to stop this topic before it went any further than it already was.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn shot Jake an alarmed look. Was he kidding? He didn't sound like he was!

He had to be kidding! There was no way in hell she was sleeping with him.

Again, that is.

Her face reddened at this reminder of Vegas and she crossed her arms and firmly turned away from him, glaring out the window.

Carrie seemed to be somewhat stumped by Jake's comment. She spoke after a long pause. "Well, if you're planning to scale the building to our window or stroll in for a midnight ravishing - "

"He can't, he'd get kicked out," Evelyn interrupted irritably.

Carrie snorted. "Nobody asks anything in hotels. If he knows our room number," she said, like Jake wasn't right there, "He can march right in and into your bed."

Evelyn was so thrown by this, she simply closed her eyes and let her head fall back onto her seat's headrest, fighting off her millionth blush.

"Don't worry I'm not coming." Jake said firmly, now really wishing the subject would get dropped.

Lola crinkled her nose, and shook her head. "Um, its okay." She said back to him, sure she heard this kind of music with Jake sometimes but it wasn't exactly her favorite.

"You say that now," Carrie grumbled, sitting back, to Evelyn's great relief.

Evelyn looked at the directions she'd printed off Google. "Um, left up ahead," she reminded Jake, more to change the topic.

Ashton smirked a little. He reached over and turned the volume up.

Jake nodded driving silently up the street, he made a swift left turn at the light.

Lola pulled a face at Ashton, reaching over and ruffling his hair.

Ashton grinned and turned up the volume even louder, so the car's doorhandles began to quiver as metal screamed in their ears.

LolaA laughed covering her ears. "You're so annoying!" She shouted.

"Don't you appreciate musical angst?" Ashton yelled back to her over the chaos.

Lola snorted. "Please! I'm not Jake and Evelyn!" She yelled at him over the angsty music.
