Luke finished the dishes and put them away, coming back out into the living room with a grin. "We should head out right n - " he froze, looking at James curled up on the sofa. "Hey, what's wrong?"

James opened his eyes, drawing in a small breath, he looked at Luke and he just seemed genuinely pleasant like he always did, James sat up, stretching a bit and decided if he was done being victim he was done burdening Luke with all of his stupid baggage.

He gave a small fake smile, "Nothing, just tired, but I'm fine just needed to relax a bit. You want to go?" James asked him standing up. James figured he could ward off Luke to keep him from checking his computer, and if it meant pretending to be okay, when he was ready to kind of just curl up and die, then so be it.

[Tiger-Lily]

Luke nodded, heading over to his laptop. "Yeah, I'll just shut this down before it overheats or something. It's rental. Can't mess this one up."

He'd gone out and gotten a rental from the college library right before calling the pizza guy.

James nodded, going over by the door and waiting for Luke he really just wanted to get out of his apartment for a little bit, "Alright come on, I'm getting like cabin fever or something." He said jokingly.

Luke rolled his eyes and followed, locking the front door. "Calm down, killer."

James had been watching TV in the apartment, he had woken up a few hours earlier and decided not to bother Luke, since he figured that Luke had been nice and made him breakfast these last few days or lunch whatever that he would at least return the favor. Although he was debating on what to make because his cooking skills were really limited.

Now he kind of wished he listened to his aunt when she offered to teach him how to cook at least simple stuff so he wouldn't survive off of pizza and burgers here, but oh well that was in the past now.

James got up and went into the kitchen, he opened the fridge and pulled out a couple of eggs, and he found that they had those biscuits you just stick in the oven and they back, he turned the oven on letting it preheat while he started scrambling eggs, he also put some coffee on, and whistled while the scents of coffee and biscuits infused in the kitchen.

Luke was dead to the world when his cell rang on the nightstand. A while later, the house phone rang in the living room. Luke rolled over and didn't move.

James had heard their home phone ringing, and was wondering who the hell was calling them. Luckily he had finished the food before the phone had started ringing because knowing his luck he would have burned it.

He picked up the cordless phone and answered, "Hello?"

Luke had hung with Tiffany, come home late and crashed. When he got up in the morning, it was to see no James.

James had left him a message saying he'd...gone to hang with Seth. Luke groaned. Seth usually meant Jake.

Luke was on the phone with his little sister, being subjected to stories about "cute boys", and wondering what James might have done to Jake this time, when he heard the apartment door swung open. He glanced up from where he was seated on the couch. "Hey, Darko. Bit late, aren't ya?"

James knew he was never really good at the whole sneaking in unnoticed, or walk of shames. He usually made it very obvious when he entered a room, even when he didn't want to make an entrance.

He walked to the living room yawning and looked at Luke who seemed to be on the phone, "Hey bro, yeah its actually for once what you think happened didn't." He sat on the couch and stretched out, "Who ya talking to?"

[Tiger-Lily]

"Lila," Luke replied, scanning James critically. His eyes landed on a slight bruise on James' cheek. "Hey, Li, hang on, James is here. She says hi," he said to James, covering the mouthpiece, and added wryly, "That makeup on your cheek, I suppose?"

[Guest]

James gave a smile, "Tell her I said hey girl! And no this isn't make up, last night I went to the dorms and Seth told me he TPed Alexis and I went to see her but I didn't know which room was her's and I ended up in Ev's and she was like sleeping or something and she freaked out cause she thought I was a rapist. Then Jake and Seth came busting in like drunken idiots and I was standing like behind the door and the door slammed me in the face." James went on to tell Luke.

[Tiger-Lily]

Luke blinked, now starting to get used to the bizarreness of college life. "And your nose?" He held up a hand, uncovering the phone. "Hey, Li, how about I call you bac - okay,no, that kid's a prick, I knew his brother in high school, real douche, no, I'm gonna make sure Mom grounds you for eternity if you go to the dance with him. All right, I'll talk to you later. Love ya." He hung up before she could squeal angrily at him and glanced questioningly at James. "So what happened there?"

James shrugged trying to remember his nose and then went "Oh! I don't know I guess since she thought I was some sort of intruder she threw something like hard at me, I think it was a book. Yeah and after all of that chaos I like sat on her bed and fell asleep cause they called me over there at like two in the freaking morning. Well Seth actually drunk dialed me off of Evelyn's phone and they were all shit faced when I got there, it was actually kind of funny." He said remembering how they were all last night and he laughed.

"Oh dude! Look at this, you won't believe what Connor was wearing last night, he was like passed out on the floor but here look." James chirped going through his phone and finding the photo of Connor in Evelyn's bra, and showed it to Luke.

[Tiger-Lily]

Luke's eyes widened. "Holy SHIT!" He burst into laughter. "I bet this will be a majorly bad morning for him, huh? Wait, you were at Ev's dorm? What were they all doing over there? Last I checked, Alexis hates Seth."

[Guest]

James laughed, and then shrugged again, "I honestly have no idea what they were doing there but um the door did kind of look busted. I think they broke in, but Alexis was passed out and mummied I suppose so she probably had no clue they were even there."

[Tiger-Lily]

Luke bit his lip to stifle his laughter. "I'm half glad we didn't dorm now."

[Guest]

"Actually kind of wish we did, it seems like fun you know?" James said, getting up to go plug his phone in to charge.

[Tiger-Lily]

Luke grinned. "Dude, I'd rather not have Jake and you living within fifty meters of each other...speaking of..." He sobered. "What the hell happened yesterday?"

[Guest]

James returned from their room and cringed slightly, "Um yeah... I went to see Tiffany cause she invited me to the dorms and I saw him and Evelyn kissing and I kind of lost it... " He said sighing and leaning over the couch, "I don't know why I did and then we kind of got into a fight and he went to leave... and Evelyn came after me and I knocked her over by accident because I didn't know it was her you know? I just thought it was some random person, and Jake got mad and I like kind of accidentally-on-purpose pushed him down the stairs?"

[Tiger-Lily]

Luke was still stuck on the fact that Evelyn, who was supposedly "single" was now randomly kissing that kid. What the hell?! He absorbed the rest of James' statement and could only stare at him, slack-jawed. "Okay, let me get this straight...you accidentally hit Evelyn?" He bit his lip hard to stifle his slight anger. "And then shoved that guy down the freaking stairs? James, that's...not exactly very honorable in a fight."

[Guest]

James groaned, "Dude it was an accident I swear! I would never push a girl over or hit one for that fact! Not even on accident. I felt like total shit when I turned around and found out it was her, and well Jake came after me so I just pushed him and also to be quite honest with you I didn't think he'd fall down the stairs."

[Tiger-Lily]

Luke blew out a breath. "I believe you. I know you'd never hit her, even if she is being a major bitch right now...seriously, what the hell, I thought she ended it. You know what whatever. It's said and done. Now you can just forget about her and move on."

[Guest]

James nodded slowly, and got bored of standing over the couch, so he climbed over it and fell onto the other side, "So what's new friend?"

[Tiger-Lily]

Luke opened his mouth to remind James about their scheduled dinner but then figured he'd mention it later. "Um..." He leaned forward, picking up a flyer off the coffeetable. "My music teacher suggested I enter this. But you know I kinda hate getting up onstage...it's a talent show. Musical, that is." He paused. "You should sign up."
