Re: Freshmen Dorms

Alexis brushed out her hair, listening to Rosemary ramble on about some guy in her class with pretty blue eyes that she played Tick-Tack-Toe with while Rose pulled on her flats. She had stayed over for the night, after they had gone back to her place for her to get her things for that night and the next morning and they were planning to go and pick up Frankie from Connor.

"Uh- Rose? That's nice and all, but I'm not the one to listen to rambling about guys." Alexis said, putting down her brush and went over, throwing her phone, camera and some other needed things into her purse before putting it over her shoulder.

"Oh- you mean, you're not NOW." Rosemary corrected her as she grabbed her beaded guitar purse that she had oh-so-wanted on her last birthday. "But James was interesting, THOUGH, I don't know much about him but he's a good view for during class.

Alexis paused, and glanced at her again while sliding on her aviator sunglasses and grabbing her dorm key. "... Who?"

"James. The guy who sat next to me. Have you not been listening me to this whole time?" Rosemary eyed her with a slight pout as she stood up, while checking over her phone before shoving it in her purse and put on the hat Alexis had rented to her. Technically, the whole outfit, except for the accessories and shoes, Alexis had let her take.

"... James... Darko?" Alexis frowned, swallowing a little. That's all ROSE, the sweet hearted tomboy needed. She really was sweet, just didn't take crap from anyone, which was one of the reasons they got along so well. She was kinda like a big kid sometimes though.

"I dunno, I just know his name was James and he had these really pretty blue eyes." Rosemary shrugged and went over, linking her arm with Alexis'.

Maybe it's not him. Maybe there's another James with blue eyes that everyone drools over. It IS New York City... But... Rosemary is another red head with green eyes. SHIT. Alexis cringed, biting at the inside of her cheek, forgetting Rose was even there as she thought.

Rose is my best friend, and I couldn't really care to know James right now... fuuuuck... What if they do date? Will it just be another James and Evelyn? With a big fucking fight in the end on some social website? Rosemary's brother's will murder him...

"...Hellooooo? Earth to Aleeeexxx?" Rosemary waved her hand in Alexis' face, before nudging her with her elbow.

"Um- what?" Alexis blinked, snapping out of it and looked at Rosemary, a little confused before fully snapping out of her thoughts. "Oh.. well.." Alexis hesitated, knowing she'd probably feel like a bitch about this. "You probably wouldn't like BEING James as more then a friend. He.. uh.. Red heads just don't go good with him."

"Er... and you know becauseee...?" Rosemary raised her eyebrows at Alexis, curiosity twinkling her eyes as she followed beside Alexis as she lead them out of the dorm.

"Lets just say I'm very in the loop." Alexis said smoothly, biting at her bottom lip as she thought about this. She kinda wondered if Luke knew. Or if he'd care. She had seen facebook this morning and she was guessing 'Tiffany' was THE Tiffany. He was probably to busy wondering on how to get a damn date with her.

"You're getting spacey eyes again." Rosemary nudged her shoulder hard with her finger, and Alexis jerked away.

"Ouch. Watch it with the nails." Alexis muttered, going down the hall and knocked at Connor's dorm door, hearing the big Rottie start barking at the door, and then some shuffling before her cousin opened the door, glancing between them.

He blinked, looking at Rose. "Ah- Rosemary?" He grinned a little.

"Hey Druggie." Rosemary chirped, pulling out her phone and looking over it.

Connor's small grin fell and he clipped Frankie's leash onto his collar before handing it to Alexis. "Thanks for watching him. I'll be back around .. uh. Two hours? Maybe three. He's been fed, watered, and so forth." He shrugged. "Just needs a walk probably." He said as he shut and locked his dorm door.

"No problem, just call me if you are going to take longer, I don't want to sleep with him drooling in my face tonight." Alexis replied, before scowling when Connor ruffled her hair and strolled off without another word.

Seth met Connor as he stepped out of the elevator to the fifth floor. "'Sup?" he said in greeting. He glanced at his watch, knowing he had a few minutes before he had to go back down again to get his laundry.

Behind Connor, he spotted a dark-head of hair beside a bright red one.

Ah shit. First Red and her bitchy friend and now this? Fate loves me.

Still...he was never one to waste opportunity.

"Hi Frankie!" Rosemary said excitedly, crouching down to ruffle his ears, keeping her face away so he couldn't lick her to death. "Hi handsome boy!" She cooed, kissing the top of his head and playing with his ears. "You are just one big teddy bear aren't you! Yes you are!"

"... Rose." Alexis smirked, looking down at her red-headed friend, before shaking her head as Rosemary continued to baby-talk the excited overly-large puppy. She let Rose continued to coddle the dog as her thoughts trailed back off to Rosemary's "blue eye'd" class-mate with the same name as Evelyn's monsterly ex.

She groaned inwardly, wishing Rose had caught his last name.

"Sup." Connor nodded, before slipping into the elevator. "Talk later, yeah?" He asked, glancing down at his own watch.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth nodded. "Later." He headed down the hall in the direction of his own suite as Connor vanished, stuffing his hands in the pockets of his darkwash jeans.

Ah crap, that mutt will smell Luce all over me, he remembered, recalling Nova's angst when Seth had gotten too close to Evelyn, who had been holding the puppy, earlier. Whatever. I can deal. He approached the end suites, smirking to himself when he saw Alexis and Rosemary. He pulled his keys out of his pocket, twirling them around a finger as he walked.

Alexis snapped out of it, hearing the jingle of keys and looked over, before scowling. "How's the nose, Areajandro?" Alexis asked, crouching down by Frankie and pet his head gently.

Rosemary raised her eyebrow as she looked up away from the dog and over at Seth, blinking a little at the brightness of his hair and half wished she had sunglasses on.

Seth smirked at Alexis. "What now?" he asked her. "I didn't quite catch that you called me. I think you're too down low."

"At least the view is better down here." Alexis said clipped, as she let Frankie off his leash and smirked as he sniffed at the air and then growled at Seth, hackles standing up.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth raised an eyebrow at Frankie. Than he shot Alexis a glance. "Yeah, I know I have cat stink all over me. I don't need the mutt to tell me that. Also," he walked forwards, stepping past the girls and grinned down at Alexis. "The nose works wonders with female sympathy. I guess they're not all uptight."

"Get 'em, Frankie." Alexis said calmly, not bothering to turn and look at Seth as Frankie bounded around and jumped at Seth, barking loudly and snapping his jaws.

Rosemary stood up quickly, stepping back as Alexis stood also. "Whoa- Alex!"

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth figured she'd do this. Man, these girls had no sense of humor.

Just for this, he was going to get her back. Definitely in a big way. For now...

He grinned and ducked sideways around some guy going the other way. Then he ducked back around and tutted at Alexis. "Really, considering someone here is going to report that dog for violent behavior, do you think you should do that?"

He could tell the group of girls behind Rosemary were looking a little afraid of the big dog. Sooner or later, Frankie would be in major trouble. In fact, Seth didn't doubt the resident don would be making a round tonight.

He shook his head at Alexis. "Silly girl, this isn't your hick town. You can't walk around with that mutt and get away with it."

"I'll say," one of the girls from the group snapped at them. "Get this mutt out of here or I'm calling security. This is a pet-free zone."

"He's dangerous," Seth said to egg her on. Sure, Connor was his friend and all, but he wasn't here. No one could link Frankie to him. It would be Alexis getting heat for the dog.

Alexis shrugged. "If it's so animal-free then maybe you should get out too, sweetheart." Alexis replied swiftly to the snappy-brunette before looking at Seth and shot him a smile before clipping Frankie's leash back on and mentioned to Rose for her to call the elevator back up, watching as she walked off too.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth raised an eyebrow at Alexis' flippant behavior. "Wonder what Connor says when he comes back and finds out his cousin lost his dog," he mused aloud.

The brunette was now, indeed, calling security, probably more annoyed at Alexis than Frankie. "Yeah, fifth floor, please," she said into her phone. Seth shook his head and turned, heading back to his own dorm. He could see the shitstorm brewing. Alexis needed to learn to control her tongue sometimes.

Seth opened his suite door and glanced down at Lucifer as the cat appeared, mewing. "Buddy, you're gonna have to go hide," he said, kneeling and rubbing the cat's head. "Some bitch started snitching about animals." He picked the cat up, carrying him over to the window. "Can you go to Evelyn's?" he wondered. Lucifer hissed.

"No, then." Seth glanced around, and then set the cat down again. "We'll see." If need be, he could always hide him in Jake's closet, he figured gleefully.

Alexis rolled her eyes and went over to the elevator once it was there and slipped in with Rose. "Uhmmm, I need you to run out of the building real fast with Frankie." Alexis said, watching the floor level's change.

"... Great. Here." Rosemary sighed and pulled off her bag and handed it to Alexis before taking Frankie's leash and pushed her hair out of her eyes, waiting for the elevator to get to the floor level. Once it was, she grinned warily at the guy waiting to get in the elevator before taking off with Frankie, who was happy to run.

Jacob saw a redhead run out with a large dog, followed by Alexis which he could only assume someone had yet again spotted Frankie and they needed to make an escape.

Which only meant that now since he had been spotted that security or someone would be making rounds tonight to make sure there wasn't pets around, he looked down at his cousin who was sitting on the chair flipping through pages of magazines down here, and he got up looking down at her, "Come on Marcella, we're gonna go to my room really quick and then we'll go out."

She nodded, and the two of them walked to the elevator and got in, she held his hand again as a few girls walked in and looked down at Marcella and the cute brunette went, "Aww is she your little sister?"

Jacob looked down at Marcella and up at the girls and smirked, "Yeah she is, I have to watch her I do love the kid." He said picking her up and holding her.

The brunette girl said, "Aw she's precious, what's your name sweetheart?" She asked her.

"I'm Marcella, and Jacob is the best we're gonna spend the day together." Marcella gave a cute dimpled smile and hugged him tight and Jacob smiled hugging her back.

After the elevator stopped on his floor he had gotten the number of the brunette girl, and her friend since they thought it was so cute that a college guy like himself would spend the day with his "little sister" Jake had to remember to borrow Marcella sometimes, she was a total chick magnet, just like Nova.

They both walked down to their dorm and he opened the door and called out, "Seth you there?"

Marcella darted in past him her eyes wide, "Whoaa this place is biggg." She said exploring around, Jacob laughed she kind of reminded him of a puppy how she was all energetic and stuff.

"Andreasis, come out here, I brought another pet home." He snorted jokingly closing the door behind him.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth poked his head out of his room, honestly worried that Jake wasn't kidding.

You never knew with this idiot. Maybe he'd given up on Nova and found another.

Seth frowned and walked out, cat under one arm. "What breed is - ?" he began and then caught sight of a small girl running around the place. "Oh, this your cousin, huh?"

He set Lucifer down and the cat sat down on its rump, eying the newcomer.

"Hey I am not a pet I am a human being... oooh kitty!" Marcella said approaching Lucifer, slowly.

Jake snorted shaking his head, "Yeah that's Marcella my aunt's kid, Hey kid be careful around that cat he's not very nice." He warned her because he knew how Lucifer got pretty aggressive, and it didn't matter if the cat maimed him, but he did have to bring Marcella back to his aunt in one piece.

Marcella pet the silvery feline gently, "Oooh he's soo fluffy!" She looked up at Seth and back down at the cat petting him, "Hey you kind of look like your kitty." Marcella informed Seth.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth chuckled down at her. He'd heard that before. "He's not really mine. He just ran away with me," he told her with a wide grin.

Lucifer, surprisingly, did nothing Luce-like at all, instead purring contentedly.

Seth frowned down at his cat, worried that he wasn't causing bloodshed. "Oh, by the way, Jake, those new kids are moving in in a few."

Marcella giggled, and she went and found one of Lucifer's toys, and dangled it around his head playing with him.

Jacob was a bit shocked, but also relieved too that Lucifer didn't attack her, but he still kept an eye on them from the corner of his eye and listened to Seth, "Oh yeah that's right, my mom should have gotten her by then, and any idea, who could be moving in?"

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth shrugged. "Nope."

He rubbed his nose when it began to ache again. "Fucking bitch," he muttered.

Lucifer batted at the chew toy robotically.

Jake nudged Seth lightly, "Hey no swearing in front of the kid."

Marcella took the little clip bow from her hair and clipped it in Lucifer's hair, she picked up the cat and walked over to Seth and tugged on Seth's shirt.

"Look I gave Lucy a bow." She said grinning.

[Tiger-Lily]

Seth looked down at his cat, which gave him an obviously disgruntled look as if to say, I can only stand so much of this before I snap.

Seth kneeled down to Marcella's level. "He's a male cat. Tomcat. He'll eat it if you put that on him." He plucked the bow off Lucifer before the cat lost it and attempted to eat the little girl. Seth handed the bow back to her and looked up at Jake.

"My nose still hurts. And I met Alexis right outside earlier. Oh, and she had her annoying friend with her. Some nosy girl named Rose-something." Seth made strangle motions as he stood up. "Alexis started getting smart with me and tried to sic Frankie on me and this other girl panicked so I suggested she call security." Seth smirked. "You don't need to worry - Red took your mutt out. And speaking of Red, she had this really hot chick with her when she was leaving this morning. Who is that?"

Jacob wasn't sure, he hadn't asked Evelyn, but he did see her status on Facebook, "Dude I don't know, all I know is from her status she's hanging with some chick named Tiffany."

"So I take it you met her and she's a hottie huh?" He asked smirking.

[Tiger-Lily]

"Don't get your hopes up," Seth warned him. "She's a grade A bitch. One of those girls who think they're the shit because they're hot. I call them Hilaries," he remarked, glancing down at Lucifer as he went to get himself a soda from the fridge.

Jacob scowled, "Dude seriously? When Red came here did she bring a sea of bitches with her too? What's with all these girls?"

"No swearing." Marcella scolded Jacob.

Seth shrugged. "Weirdly, even though I kinda crashed into Red and almost squished her when I ran into them - literally - her friend was the one who went all diva on me. Red just got this weary look on her face and went hi." Seth smirked at Jake as he returned with his soda and snapped the tab off. "I think your annoying presence is growing on her. Which is truly disturbing because now we know she's mentally unstable at last."
