Seth was woken by his cat freaking out and trying to climb onto his head. He shoved Lucifer off and sat up.

It soon became apparent why Lucifer was so annoyed and aggrieved.

Seth got out of bed, tugging on a shirt, and opened his door to see the source of the thuds and bangs. "What the fuck are you doing at seven in the morning?" he asked Jake sleepily. Jake was crouched in front of his closed door, apparently attempting to chisel something onto the wood.

Ashton's door opened and his sleep-tousled head emerged. "Wazz goin' on?" he asked groggily.

Antonio woke from his coma, stumbling out of his room into the hallway he rubbed his eyes he staggered into the door frame, why was it suddenly so loud, "What?" He said disoriented seeing Jake crouched over his door attempting to carve his intiatls into the door,

"Dude... your name is too long to carve into your door."


"What the fuck! That fucking bitch! She super glued my motherfucking phone to my god damn door!" Jake growled, finally prying the damn thing off his door, and scraping some of the wood off and her stupid message, how could someone be this livid at seven in the morning? It was easy when they knew the fucking Dragon.

He examined his phone, saw that she had written "Sally" the back in marker or whatever but it was covered in wood chips, he opened the back of it and saw his SIM card, but of course his memory card wasn't there because she still fucking had it! Jake had taken so much of her crap, that needles to say he lost it, "I FUCKING HATE THAT STUPID BITCH! I HOPE SHE BURNS IN THE FIREST PITS OF HELL!" He yelled while stabbing the hell out of his door.

Seth stared for a moment, and then cleared his throat. "Jake...stop killing your door. It didn't do anything." He wasn't willing to go near an enraged Jake lest he lose control of his knife.

Ashton was trying to understand this. "Who's she?" he asked Seth warily.

Seth bit his lip. He thought he knew who but...how had she gotten inside?

Jake dropped the knife, and stood up his eyes narrowed into two dark slits, "How the fuck did she get in here! Who let her in here? How come no one noticed her doing this?!"

He was furious and he wanted answers, Antonio noticing this figured it wouldn't be a good time to mention that he had let Evelyn and her friend Ashlee in here and since Jake was armed, well armed or not he knew that Jake could easily kill him. He had watched him play rugby before and take down guys twice his size.

Tony figured if he backed away slowly while Jake was still in his cloud of anger he could go unnoticed, boy was he wrong because Jake had caught his uneasy gaze and he had come at him like a raging tiger.

"It was you wasn't it? I know it had to be you because Seth was with me, and you're, you're just that stupid huh?!" Jake yelled down at him.

Antonio cowered a little bit, gulping he looked up at Jake and laughed nervously, "Jake, man, I'm your boy you know.. I ..." He found it hard to breathe and then he felt himself crumble, "Okay okay ! I'm sorry yes I let her in but I didn't know she was up to anything! I swear dude if I knew what was going down between you two, I would have bolted the door shut. I'm sorry! Please don't kill me!" He pleaded pathetically.

Jake figured he could do one of two things, kill Antonio, or just forget about it. Although it would feel really good right now to kill him, he figured he'd somewhat feel bad about it later. So he decided to let Antonio live in fear, "Tony you're going to get what's coming to you. You won't know when, and you won't know what, but trust me you'll regret it." Jake threatened him, although he knew he wasn't going to do anything to he figured he let him live in fear for awhile.

Tony was ready to flee the country at that moment, as Jake turned around and went to his room taking his phone he opened the back pulling out the SIM card and putting it on his desk, he tossed his old phone into his waste bin and went and threw himself on his bed burying his head into his pillow and screaming into it.

Seth grimaced at Antonio and decided to try elevating his guilt a little. "It's okay, man, she's conned guys before. That girl is vicious and Jake got on her bad side. Even I would've been tricked."

Ashton snorted. "She didn't con Tony at all. He saw two hot girls and he swooned."

Antonio glared at his brother, "Its not like I knew they were going to do something like that! You mean to tell me if two hot girls showed up at your door, you both would turn them away?" He said staring Seth and Ashton both in the eye.

Jake was so fed up of this damn situation, he sat up in his bed and realized he wasn't going to wait until Alexis and Evelyn or in this case Evelyn decided to leave her window unattended or her door to her room unlocked. Which in this case, since they were both in a state of war that wasn't going to happen.

So if he wanted his memory card he was going to get it and he knew she wasn't going to let him in through their door.

Jake climbed up on his bed opening the window he looked down at the five stories below, there really wasn't that many people wandering around campus and the security guards really didn't seem to be paying attention, Jake climbed out of the window and out onto the ledge into the cold morning, his teeth chattered slightly as he edged himself along the side of the dorm building.

Here was one thing he thought he wouldn't ever have to do again.

Seth wondered if he should go check on Jake. He'd not bothered to close his door all the way, but Seth really didn't want to antagonize him.

"That's what I said," he said in response to Antonio. "She's wily, that one. If I didn't loathe her and her roomie for making our lives hell, I'd be impressed." He frowned. "Isn't there a way to get glue or whatever she used off his phone though?"

He nudged open Jake's door - to find his room empty. "What the - !"

Seth's eyes flew to the window. "Oh FUCK, no!" he dove into the room and stuck his head out of the window. Sure enough, there was Jake a few feet away.

"What the friggin' hell do you think you're doing?!!" Seth hollered at him over the sounds of traffic below. "You could've told me to hold a damn ROPE, SALAZAR!"

The half-ajar window was letting in a cool morning breeze that tickled Nova's face a he lay on the middle of the lump that was Evelyn under her duvet. The puppy raised his head lazily and then cast a glance at the sleeping girl, impatient to be fed. Her hair had come out of its loose coil because she'd turned in her sleep so much; bronze waves tickled Nova's muzzle as he lay curled up under her chin and he shifted slightly down to her stomach, annoyed at the constant taunting.

Another strand of hair brushed Nova's nose. The dog wheezed and jerked forward, catching the strand in his mouth and tugging at it in aggravation. Evelyn stirred but didn't wake and Nova had a moment of tug-of-war with her head as he yanked at the lock of hair that swept down her shoulder.

Evelyn turned on her side and Nova toppled backwards with a yip, landing beside her with the bronze curl in his mouth. Evelyn cringed in her sleep and rubbed her head where he'd just snapped off one strand of hair.

Jake teetered a bit, at the sound of Seth's voice, he looked back and saw the silvery blond head of his friend shouting at him at seven in the morning, no doubt attracting attention to himself and this whole ridiculous scene!

"Shut up!" Jake yelled at him, the last thing he needed was people looking or calling security. Or even worse if Evelyn heard all of this she would wake up, and probably open her window and push him off the ledge.

Jake inched over towards her window, and to his shock it was halfway open. Then again with it being so cool now he wouldn't blame her for opening the window but at the same time after everything that happened, he shook his head. He could think about that later. Jake figured for once god was throwing him a bone.

He peered into the window and saw that she was sleeping, and sighed in relief. He straightened up, sliding his arm in through the window slowly so he could open it just enough for him to squeeze in.

Seth was watching all of this and repressing an urge to go over and smack Jake to bring him back to sanity - whatever sanity was for Jake.

Why was he o desperate? Oh, right, his damn memory card. Seth hoped it was worth facing a half-asleep Evelyn's wrath.

He withdrew from the window and paced, trying to figure out what to do. "Hey, guys," he said, walking out to where the twins stood. "So, Jake's attempting some serious trespass - if he gets caught, he'll get expelled for sure. It's a little obvious to see a guy his height climbing around a building. What do we do?"

Nova lifted himself up on his hindlegs, holding onto Evelyn's shoulder, nose lifting when he caught a familiar scent.

He perked up and began to bark happily at the sight of Jake, front paws hooked over Evelyn's shoulder to support himself. Evelyn groaned in her sleep at his high-pitched yelps and cracked open one bleary green eye. "Nova, hush," she muttered sleepily, not bothering to move. Sunlight from the window stung her eyes and she blinked, before closing her eyes again in hopes of resuming sleep.

Antonio choked on his cereal, Jake... outside the window!? He grabbed his coffee and gulped it down and stared wide eyed at Seth, "What the hell? Why is Jake outside the window?!"

Jake could see Nova's little brown head from the window and he was barking up a storm, and he was surly going to wake up Evelyn which wasn't apart of the plan. "Shhh Nova... be a good boy go to sleep." Jake said calmly to get Nova to settle down.

Nova yipped and attempted to jump up onto the window to try and see Jacob but instead he tumbled down onto Evelyn's bed letting out a small whine, although since he seemed to have had Jake and Evelyn rub off on him, he was a stubborn determined little dog so he jumped back up looked out the window and saw Jake and just barked happily.

"Nova shhh! You're gonna wake up everyone." Jake shushed him trying to push him back in through the window, and decided that maybe this wasn't a good idea after all since Nova was too busy trying to climb out the window with him. "No you have to stay with the evil dragon lady okay? You can't come with me, you'll fall."

Nova tilted his head at Jake licking his hand, he turned around and went back down to wake up Evelyn to let her know that Jacob was here, he started tugging at the sleeve of her shirt and growling.

"Shit!" Jake cursed, and decided that now would be the perfect time to leave, he turned back around and started edging his way back to his window as he was about to climb back in a flock of birds zipped past him throwing his balance off, he fell from the ledge but reached out grabbing onto the ledge as he dangled five stories above the ground and outside his window.

Seth was pacing frantically, trying to figure out a way of ensuring no one saw Jake dangling.

"Diversion, diversion," he collided with Lucifer when the cat entered the hallway, "fuck, move it! Diver -"

Lucifer growled at Antonio.

Seth's eyes lit up and he swallowed. "Hey, boys, who's up to play dress up? Someone's gonna see Jake crawling the side of this building unless we give them something else to look at."

Ashton blinked. "What have you got in mind?"

Seth turned and darted into the bathroom. He grabbed his can of shaving foam and walked out.

Ashton opened his mouth.

"Shut up," Seth said, holding up a hand. He went into his room and emerged with a pair of sunglasses and a ski cap, pulling them both on.

He emerged with the shaving cream. "No one's gonna know who it is if we're covered in this. We'll set Luce going crazy down there and no one's gonna be watching Jake. Then we run like crazy back home."

"Shouldn't we change?" Ashton asked feebly, gesturing to their underclothes. Seth smirked.

"That makes it all the more attractive, don'tcha think?" he asked pulling his T-shirt up over his head.

Evelyn opened her eyes again, wondering why Nova was making such a ridiculous racket. Had he gotten into a fight with the random pigeons that landed on the sill?

She lifted her head up and Nova's tiny form came blearily into her view. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and forced herself reluctantly out of bed to go over and tug him back. How the hell had he gotten on the sill?

And why was the window open so wide? She'd never leave it open so much when Nova was so close.

"Nova! Hush," she said firmly but he continued to try poking his little nose over her arm in the direction of the open window. Evelyn wondered if there was a particularly colorful bird out there. She decided to humor him and setting him down, poked her head out the window.

She didn't see anything. At first.

But it was kind of hard to ignore the six-plus feet Spaniard dangling a little ways away, off the freaking ledge.

Evelyn closed her sleepy eyes firmly and then opened them again. She was just having a bad nightmare about this idiot.

Jake was still there, attempting to swing back up..

"Oh my..." she trailed off, horrified now that the gravity of this situation began to sink in. She glanced down at the street. A couple of people walked by, bot so far, no one seemed to have noticed the moron.

She didn't bother to wonder why he was even out there. She drew back in and looked around, panicked. She did not keep rope lying around - wait...there was some rope left over from some of the stuff her aunt and uncle had delivered from Seattle. She'd almost thrown it away but...

I think I did throw it away - oh, hell. I'm going to kill this kid!

The ideal thing to do would be to call security and have them get Jake in, or 911. What if he fell by the time they got here though?

Trying to ignore her frenzied mind, Evelyn dove into her closet and shoved aside everything in search of the box that might have held her packing rope, dialing campus security with the other hand on her phone. The rope wasn't there. She'd definitely thrown it out.

"Hello?" a woman's voice chirped. "What's your emergency?"

Evelyn hesitated for a second while she darted over to her bed and yanked off its sheets. Too short. "Uhhh...there's a guy....uh...outside my window."

"Are you being harassed, young lady? Is he communicating? How often have you seen him befo-?" the woman began quickly.

Evelyn swore. She wished that was her problem. She'd have handled it herself. But thanks to people like Jake, her life had overshot past Normal long ago. "No, no! He's uh....he's trapped on the ledge on the fifth floor, and I'm in suite 505 and he's dangling off it about fifty meters away from my window."

There was a slight pause on the other end. Then, "We'll send someone up to your suite right away."

Evelyn hung up and grabbed a long cardigan to drape over the shorts and tee she'd worn to bed, and then rushed back to her window; the idiot was still there. She figured yelling would distract him - and in this case, kill him. She headed back inside and knocked on Alexis' door. "Hey, do you have a rope? Like, fifty meters long?" She doubted anyone but the fire department had ropes that long. The average commercial set was only 25.

Alexis got up from whatever the hell she was doing, pulling out her headphones and went over to the door, opening it. "Why.. the hell do you need THAT long of a rope? I don't have any, by the way. Not since I stopped going on hikes."

Antonio pulled faces at Lucifer, and went to follow his brother and Seth, and saw them both changing and tilted his head, "Um guys what's the plan to reel Jake back in?"

Jake dangled from the ledge he glanced back over his shoulder at the drop, and tried to calculate it in his head of which body part would cause the least amount of damage to him physically if he landed on it.

A cold breeze blew past him and he shivered slightly, he kind of wished he had thrown on a sweater before doing this, although he probably knew that Seth probably had a mini panic attack when he saw him like this, Jake though however was surprisingly calm when it came to near death situations. Probably since he's experienced so many of them with all the extreme sports he's done it lost its affect that he could possibly die.

He whistled a tune in his head as he dangled there, and was thinking maybe he could attempt to swing himself back up but he wasn't too sure if he'd make it, and since his luck no longer existed he'd probably die trying so he figured he wait around for help.

Evelyn bit her lip. "Um...." She spotted Alexis' window over her shoulder and then a moment later, before she could explain, a knock came on the suite door.

She hurried to let in a pair of men dressed in security outfits, carrying what looked like a climbing rope in their hands and a bag of tools. "Which window?" one of them barked.

Evelyn led them over to her open window, picking Nova up in her arms and walking back over to Alexis. "Jake's dangling off the ledge um...a few meters down," she informed Alexis, nonchalant.

The two security guys examined the situation. One of them stuck hi head out the window and hollered. "Hey, son! Hang in there. We're gonna come git ya!"

The other guy was connecting the rope to a contraption around his waist. He began to climb out the window.

Seth, Ashton and Antonio were now marching down the stairs quickly, Lucifer in Seth's backpack. "We're going to basically coat ourselves in shaving cream, have Luce cause chaos," Seth said simply. "And hopefully, Jake'll be back inside by then."

Alexis nodded, staring over at the security guards. "...Shame they ain't young cute guards." Alexis replied smoothly, as if Jake dangling from the building didn't bug her one bit.

Antonio shrugged this sounded like a good idea, he had to admit he wasn't expecting dorm life to be this much fun.

Jake looked up at the security guards rolling his brown eyes at them, they weren't superheroes he didn't get why they were both freaking out, its not like he was suicidal or anything.

"Hey guys really, no need to get worked up. Its not the first time I've been a situation similar to this. Take your time." Jake said nonchalantly.

[Tiger-Lily]

Evelyn grimaced at Alexis. "They're never cute outside the movies."

She wondered why the security guys looked a little ticked. She moved over to lean against her bedroom doorway, it gave her a better view. Shouldn't they be hurrying this up?

"Smartass," one of the guys muttered as his partner climbed out along the ledge.

The partner edged himself along the ledge and crouched near Jake. "I haven't done this in years. Not often we get suicide cases like yourself," he said to Jake conversationally, handing down a rope for the Spaniard to hold. "They usually prefer to hang themselves by their ties in their rooms."

Seth and co. reached the lobby, receiving curious stares and giggles from the girls at their half-dressed state. Half the crowd followed them out, Seth noted with satisfaction.

He headed around campus to the other side of their dorm building, where Jake....wa now dangling off the freaking ledge. Seth, can of shaving foam in one hand, paused. Security guys were helping Jake up. Was there any point to their doing thi?

A girl below pointed up at Jake at that second, and screeched. "Ohmigosh, HE'S GONNA DIE!!"

Seth sprayed himself in the face with the shaving foam, and then turned and sprayed the twins' faces. He bent down and, hidden from onlookers by the twins, sprayed a bit on Lucifer's head.

The cat went insane. He tore around their ankles, tripping up Ashton, who staggered blindly, not able to see a thing past his foamed eyes, and Lucifer took off across the quad, screeching angrily.

Every single person in the vicinity looked around, none of them noticing Jake. There were few things that could top a vicious cat snarl.

"ARGH!!!!" Antonio shouted blindly running around and flailing around everywhere like a headless chicken, for sure crashing into a few people which were trying to scatter away from the scene after hearing Lucifer snarl like a freaking tiger.

"I can't see!" Antonio screamed panicked, and running all over the place.

"Oh well see I was gonna do that, but all my neck ties are out for dry cleaning, darn. Sorry for making you guys actually put some effort into your job, my mistake." Jake replied cheekily smirking up at the guards and taking hold of the rope with one hand.

"I know right? It's never like the movies." Alexis sighed, crossing her arms as she waited.

The guard holding the rope glared and was probably wondering if he'd be sued if this kid "accidentally" died.

He yanked the rope up, Jake on its other end, and grabbed Jake's arm, hoisting him up on the ledge and clipping another safety belt around Jake's waist before he fell off again. "Don lose tha'," he snapped, turning and making his careful way back to the window. He gestured for Jake to enter it before him.

Evelyn glanced at Alexis and managed a forced grin - the humane part of her was still unnerved. She looked around as the other guard came back into view in the window - he looked extremely put out. He seemed to be indicating something. Evelyn exhaled, half-annoyed, half-relieved. There was clearly no death because Jake's head was briefly visible. She was definitely going to make him regret this.

No wonder the guard looked mad.

Down below, the crowd in the quad was still anguished. The irate cat was tearing around, chased by three foam-faced boys in their underwear. The girls half-giggled, half-cringed, but the males in the audience whooped and cheered Lucifer on as he climbed up on a bench, leapt onto a guy's head, climbed down and ducked under a girl's long skirt to hide from Seth.

Seth swooped down and the girl screeched, jumping backwards with her hands holding down her skirt.

Oops. Can't go there. He looked up at her, widening his eyes behind his sunglasses. Shit, she looked annoyed. Seth grinned through a faceful of shaving foam. "Hey, pretty lady. My cat's um, gone up your skirt."

She glared and attempted to knee his nose off. Seth backed off and watched Lucifer tear out from her skirt and take off back towards the dorms. He really hoped Jake had been pulled in by now.

"RETREAT!" Seth hollered at the twins, bolting behind Lucifer. Ashton dragged his brother along.

Antonio wiped the shaving cream off his eyes and looked at the irritated girl he gave a quick bow and grin, "Thank you New York City! You're a beautiful audience!" And with that he took off after Seth and Ashton back to their dorm.

Jake held onto the rope, and climbed inside of Evelyn's window and landed swiftly on his feet on her floor. He looked back at the two guards that were now climbing in through the window behind him, feeling himself warm up from being out in the cool morning air.

"Thank you boys, I'll make sure to include a generous tip for you both when I need to pay my tuition." He grinned he saw both Evelyn and Alexis standing in her doorway.

Alexis looked like she didn't really care if Jake had plummeted to her death, or really cared that he was out there at all, Evelyn though she seemed a bit annoyed, "Buneas dias chickas" He greeted the both of them, his dark eyes twinkling.

"Damn. Your fat-ass didn't break the rope and die." Alexis said with a false pout before turning and going back into her room.

Jake pouted feigning offense, "Hey chicka its not my fault, I'm Latin. I was born with a great ass!" He hollered at her. The Spaniard's eyes landed on the annoyed looking Evelyn.

"Don't think I forgot about you." He smiled.

The security guards shoved past Jake at this point, rather rudely, and walked down the hall, muttering under their breaths. They didn't even bother to question him on what exactly he was doing out there.

Evelyn stepped aside, leaning against her dresser, to let them pass into the hall, biting the inside of her cheek to hold back the rude retort she wanted to throw at the stupid Spaniard. Her blood boiled - what exactly had this idiot been thinking? She simply settled for jerking her thumb over her shoulder to indicate he could leave. Nova yipped near her feet, waddling over to Jake to greet him.

Seth and the twins burst into teh lobby, scattering cared onlookers as hey headed for the stairs, lucifer pausing to wipe his face with his tiny paws.

"Hey, no cat in here!" the don on duty hollwered.

"He's injured!" Seth shot back, scooping up the cat in his arms and bolting up the stairwell. "I'll return him to my friend!"

Jake bent down and picked up Nova letting the dog lick him all over the cheek, "Hey there boy, I know I missed you too." He cooed, ignoring Evelyn's evil glare and trying not to laugh
